You are better off having a five year old hit your engine with a hammer. I brought in a B-20 engined Volvo, which from a mechanics standpoint is about as complex as a spoon. Al wanted $500.00 just to INSPECT the head and the valves. When I told him I didn`t want to break the bank with this repair, he replied (and I am quoting here) "Why bother then?". For those of you who didn`t get that, this guy only want... view mores the money, not to provide good value repairs for a fair market price. I declined, and I suggest you do likewise. When I went to pick the vehicle up, the accrued $117.00 in charges had become $130.00 through magic, for no actual work accomplished ($65.00 was in towing). I can not stress this strongly enough, DO NOT LET THIS SHOP HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CAR.

Al has been in business for 43...

Al has been in business for 43 years and has been servicing my car for at least 20 of those years. I trust him 100% to advise me on financial decisions about repairs for my volvo.
