I am extremely disappointed in our recent transaction with Rob Day at Car Care. We took our car in on January 29, 2013 to see what needed to be fixed ?ˆ“ they were great in stating what the problem was and how much it would cost. After agreeing to have them fix the car, we did not hear from anyone for over a week. I called to see what the status was on our vehicle ?ˆ“ Ron (counter help) said they were waiting on the pa... view morert to be shipped as it is coming from some place back east and he would call and let us know when they would have the part and would be able to fix our car. A week later, we received a call stating that are car was fixed and ready to be picked up. We paid them their $857.00 for replacing the rear axle. We drove it straight home noticing that it was making a loud noise that it never made before and when we parked it ?ˆ“ there was a burning smell. I called Car Care and explained the situation to them, Ron said to bring it down and they would look at it. I took the car down and Rob rode with me to see if he could identify the problem. He did notice the loud noise and the burning smell. He told me that they would take a look into a give me a call. I received a call shortly after stating that it was bad bearings in the axle that they just had shipped in and that we just paid for and that we needed to pay another 263.00 for them to be fixed. I asked Rob why it would cost us, as this was supposed to have been fixed with the axle that was just purchase and he stated that he did not know the bearings on the axle were bad as it was a used axle they purchased and placed in our car. Therefore, our problem was not solved and now we have an additional problems to be fixed. I definitely would not recommend using this auto repair shop as they do not stand behind their work, the communication is extremely poor and there is a lack of integrity.
