You`re better off fixing the car you already have
I bought a car from these people less than 2 weeks ago. I have already had to put a windshield washer fluid pump on the car. Now, it died in the middle of traffic on me the other day and I nearly got rear-ended by a semi truck. It has been in the shop for 3 of the 12 days since I got it. When I called about the washer fluid, I was told that the person I needed to talk to was out. I got this same story for three days ... view morestraight until I finally just went and got it fixed.
When I called about the car shutting off in the middle of the road and said that the ""check engine"" light was on, the decision maker of the car lot told me to take it to Autozone and they would diagnose it for free. Then if I buy parts, they would repair it.
It is kind of hard to take a car that is not running to the auto parts store for diagnosis. Secondly, I am not paying the monthly payment to the auto parts store, I am paying it to the car lot.
I had to get the car towed and now the shop has called me three different times with a different diagnosis. I guess they are still playing the guessing game as to what the problem is. NOT GOOD.
I can`t keep putting money into a car and afford the monthly payments too.
I was warned about this place, but am in nursing school and can`t get financed anywhere else until I graduate and get a real job.
How do they expect you to pay a payment when you can`t get to work, etc. because the vehicle does not run. How ridiculous, less than two weeks and I am without transportation again. I was in that boat with my old car, but I didn`t have a payment with that.
