It's been repainted once in its original silver. The paint is faded and peeling in spots. The following items have been replaced in the past 7 years: Headliner 2009, Alt. 2010, Carb. 2010, Starter 2010, Plugs,Wires,Dist.Cap and Rotor 2010, Belts & Hoses 2010, Muffler & Tail Pipe 2011, Front Brake Pads 2012, Battery 2012, Power Brake Booster 2012. AC does not work-needs a new expansion valve. Power windows do work, Cruise Control works, Rear Wiper was removed but I have a replacement with the arm from the junk yard. The leather seats are worn and the carpet is in fair shape. I installed a set of shoulder belts in the rear which were still an option in 1991. I installed a set of Warn manual hubs but still have the original slugs from the front hubs."

This 1991 Grand Wagoneer is a rare find, it is 1 of 1,560 that were produced in the final year of production of the "Big Bodied Jeep". An "American Classic" in its own right, Woody's like this one have been featured in many movies, TV shows and commercials. We are seeking a new owner that wants to give a new home to this "Woody". This Jeep has been in my family for most of its life and enjoys fishing trips, driving on snowy roads, trips to Home Depot, and bringing home the family Christmas Tree. The 4 wheel drive works great and I have never been stuck in this Jeep. I will miss it but I have to many projects and not enough time to devote to the restoration of this fine example of what a Jeep use to be. I am sure that I have missed telling a few things about "The Woody". So feel free to ask any and all questions and request pictures of others items on the vehicle that you want to know about so you can place your winning bid. The parts that are displayed in the cargo area will be included with your winning bid at no extra charge.

Next-gen Jeep Wrangler to get 8-speed automatic and 3.0-liter EcoDiesel

Thu, Mar 5 2015

Following up on previous reports, an anonymous source within FCA has confirmed to Autoblog that the next-generation Jeep Wrangler will come to market with both a 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6 and ZF's critically acclaimed eight-speed automatic transmission. While this pairing makes a lot of sense (we'll explain why in a minute), until now, we only had limited reports that either item would arrive in the next-generation Wrangler. This is the first time we've heard that the eight-speed automatic and the diesel would be paired together. That said, we shouldn't be surprised by this news. FCA currently sells the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Ram 1500 with the diesel/eight-speed gearbox combo, making its inclusion in the next-gen Wrangler far from an Apollo 11-caliber feat of engineering. Naturally, we reached out to Jeep for an official comment. Spokesperson Gabrielle Schulte gave us the expected response to this kind of inquiry, telling Autoblog that FCA does not comment on future product. Jeep has flirted with the idea of a diesel Wrangler for some time, with CEO Mike Manley telling Ward's Auto just over two years ago that a Wrangler diesel was "on the radar," although at that time, we weren't certain whether it'd be the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel showing up in the rough-and-tumble off-roader. As for the eight-speed, SEC filings back in November revealed that it'd be coming to the Wrangler in 2018. Our source could not confirm which model year the 8AT/diesel would arrive in. Jeep Cherokee appears in Chrysler's second Super Bowl spot

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

The second of three spots produced by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles for this year's Super Bowl featured the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Aired during the game's half time show, the minute-long ad didn't strike as anything new or innovative from an automaker with a reputation for above average Super Bowl spots, but it did show the controversially styled Cherokee in the best light possible.
Called Restless, the commercial shows young, adventurous types doing the sorts of things that young, adventurous types do: surfing, skateboarding, cliff jumping, staring off into the sky with a pensive expression, etc. Scroll down to watch Restless for yourself and let us know in Comments if Jeep managed to hold your attention during half time.

2014 Jeep Cherokee starting price set at $22,995*

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Love it or hate it, the 2014 Cherokee is on its way to a Jeep showroom near you this fall. Today, Chrysler announced the different trim levels, features and pricing for its new compact utility with a starting price of $22,995 (*not including $995 for destination), which is $400 less than the 2012 Liberty it ostensibly replaces.
Available in four trim levels - Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk - the new Cherokee will come standard with Chrysler's 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine with the upper three levels offering the option of the company's 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. The base Sport is your typical entry-level model, featuring equipment including manual cloth seats and black exterior mirrors and door handles, but it also has a five-inch Uconnect media center, LED taillights and 10 standard airbags. Stepping up from the Sport model, Latitude and Limited trims bring increasing levels of luxury starting at $24,495 and $27,995, respectively. All three of these trims are front-wheel drive in standard configuration and offer varying versions of Jeep's Active Drive four-wheel-drive system.
The range-topping $29,495 Cherokee Trailhawk (shown above) comes standard with four-wheel drive and numerous upgrades to earn Jeep's Trail Rated fender badge. These changes include a unique design that adds an off-road suspension with taller ride height giving more aggressive approach and departure angles, underbody skid plates, distinguishing exterior design elements and a seven-inch, reconfigurable instrument gauge cluster similar to what it found in high-trim Dodge Dart models. Scroll down for a full breakdown of the 2014 Cherokee pricing and trim levels, and let us know what you think of the model's pricing and equipment in Comments.
