Gmc 3500 Extended Cab Long Bed Dually on 2040-cars
Carson, Virginia, United States
This truck has been sitting for 3 years now due to a bad fuel pump! Haven't needed it and haven't had time to fix it . Pumped all the gas out of the tank when it went bad. The truck was stripped down to the bare metal and painted about 5 years ago - Oliver Tractor Green. The body had only a few dings and small dents at the time that it was painted. The paint has a splotchy look due to a defect in the manufacturers paint formula. The body has a little surface rust coming from behind the molding that seperates the roof from the body side panel on the drivers side. The enigine is a 454 with a turbo 400 automatic. The timing gears have been replaced along with the harmonic balancer, and oil pump,. The engine used 2 quarts of oil about every 3000 miles. Transmission pulls good and shifts great with no leaks. Pulled 12,000 pounds, and didn't even feel like it had anything back there. It has 2 remanufactured heads and new exhaust manifolds. The truck has a new radiator and ac condenser and compressor. It has been converted over to R134 refridgerant. New brakes, new rubber brake lines, new front shocks and all tires are like new. New dual exhaust from the catalitic converter back. No muffler. It has a reese receiver hitch and a fold away goose neck ball in the floor of the bed. The truck bed has spray in bed liner. The interior is in good condition for its age. The head liner has been replaced, but the sun visors need a little work. Has a multi disk CD changer. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. The only reason I am selling is because I do not have any use for it and hate to see it just sitting here. Truck is sold as is. I have described to the best of my ability. $500.00 non-refundable deposit due at the end of the sale, via Paypal. The remainder due in cash at pick up. Truck can not be picked up between August 9 and16. No shipping, buyer must pick up. |

Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487
Thu, Sep 8 2016This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia. And then Mike (who is still uncomfortable writing in the third person) goes on a rant about why automakers shouldn't specify which cars are aimed at women. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com.
