2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor in good shape condition just recently retired unit. The car Runs and drives good plenty of power, power door locks and windows work nice tinted windows. The car has really low miles at only 104k on it! Fleet maintained vehicle! I can see a new right side catalytic convertor, a new steering shaft, the car needs a transmission cooler, abs light is on, a rear seat (I have a tan leather town car seat available for $100 if interested let me know?) interior trim panels need to be put back on from the removal of police equipment. I have a good set of door panels, and has other misc. interior trim in the trunk. The car requires work to pass VA state inspection, front lower control arm bushings, rear brake rotors, re connect horn, I did put in a new headlight bulb, new right front turn signal. If you have any questions please ask before bidding. If you want the vehicle shipped the buyer must make all shipping arrangements to hire transport or tow company. Payment to be received within 3 days of the auction close cash on pick up, or if shipping the car to you payment to be by bank wire transfer to clear here before the car will be released to shipping company. Ford's Simple Suit Makes You Feel Like A Drunk Driver
Tue, Mar 25 2014We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
