A coolant hose failed causing the engine to overheat and blow the head gasket in this 7 passenger Eurovan. I purchased a used replacement engine with 68k miles on it and began the swap. Not being a mechanic, and not able to get the experienced help promised, I need to cut my losses and move on. This vehicle has never been wrecked, and has passed all North Carolina inspections since I purchased it 10 years ago. The catalyst is new with 1 year of use, Michelin tires, 6 disc remote CD Player, normal wear on interior with no tears in the seat covers. I still have the original engine and lots of spare and new parts, including a sliding side window to replace the fixed one, all the original front bumper parts, headlights, grille, radiator and fans and so on. I need the room and have to load it on your trailer by this weekend!!

Volkswagen e-Co-Motion concept poised for delivery to Geneva
Sat, 02 Mar 2013With Nissan getting ready to launch the e-NV200, it appears Volkswagen is looking to go after the same zero-emission commercial vehicle market with the all-electric 2013 e-Co-Motion Concept. Debuting next week at the Geneva Motor Show, the e-Co-Motion Concept might be small in size, but VW says it has cargo and payload capacities that should be perfect for small businesses.
Measuring 179 inches long, 75 inches wide and 77 inches tall, the e-Co-Motion Concept has about the same footprint as the current Golf, and it has a cargo capacity of 162 cubic feet and a maximum payload of more than 1,700 pounds. There isn't too much information on the e-Co-Motion just yet - such as what electric components and platform are used - but the press release posted below states while the concept is shown as a cargo van, future body styles could include a passenger wagon or a refrigerated box van.
VW Golf Sportsvan succeeds Golf Plus in Frankfurt

Just ahead of this week's Frankfurt Motor Show, Volkswagen has announced the world premiere of its Golf Sportsvan, a near-production concept that succeeds its Golf Plus. VW describes this compact family car as "one of the most versatile vehicles of the compact class," noting that it offers a mix of hatchback and minivan features in a sporty package.
That sportiness comes from the Sportsvan's styling (perhaps more sleek wagon than minivan) and performance features it shares with the Golf GTI - including the XDS+ electronic differential lock, which is integrated into the Electronic Stability Control system to improve agility. At the same time, the Sportsvan's six engine options, which include a turbodiesel, are up to 19-percent more fuel-efficient than their predecessors.
