Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe Lapis Blue Navigation Well Maintained 46,150 Miles on 2040-cars
Spring Hill, Florida, United States
UP FOR SALE IS A 2007 LAPIS BLUE METALLIC PORSCHE 911 TURBO, WITH A RICH SAND BEIGE INTERIOR. IT HAS THE 3.6 LITER V6 TURBO CHARGED ENGINE WITH 480 HP AND 460 LBS OF TORQUE WHICH EQUALS A NICE 0-60 TIME OF 3.3 SECONDS! THIS ICONIC CAR COMES STANDARD WITH LEATHER INTERIOR, PLUSH CARPET, POWER MOON ROOF, POWER WINDOWS AND DOOR LOCKS, CRUISE CONTROL AND TILT STEERING WHEEL AS WELL AS A 6 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH IT HAS SOME NICE PERKS SUCH AS NAVIGATION, XENON HEADLIGHTS, HEATED SEATS, THE MODULE FOR HANDS FREE TELEPHONE, REMOTE CD CHANGER, AND A 3M INVISIBLE BRA TO PROTECT THE FRONT END FROM CHIPS AND BUG DAMAGE WAS ADDED. THIS COLOR IS VERY RARE AS IT WAS A $2380 OPTION, AND HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING BUT COMPLIMENTS ON IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SUN HITS THE METALLIC IN THE PAINT. THIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED IN TEXAS AND WAS PURCHASED FROM AN OWNER THERE AND BROUGHT TO FLORIDA. THE CURRENT OWNER PURCHASED THE CAR WITH ABOUT 30K ON IT ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. THE CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED PRIMARILY AT REEVES IMPORT MOTORCARS IN TAMPA. WE HAVE THE RECORDS FROM PORSCHE OF NORTH HUSTON WHERE THE CAR CAME FROM. RECENT MAINTENANCE INCLUDES: NEW BATTERY, STARTER, 2 REAR TIRES (MICHELINS), THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED AT 38K AS IT APPEARED TO NOT SHIFT AS SMOOTHLY AS THIS PERFORMANCE CAR SHOULD (WHICH DID CURE THE PROBLEM). MECHANICALLY, THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, NO PROBLEMS DETECTED AS IT WAS JUST INSPECTED BY A PORSCHE MECHANIC THAT DID THE WORK ABOVE. COSMETICALLY ONLY MINOR FLAWS, THE BIGGEST IS THE DRIVERSIDE HEADLIGHT WASHER IS PUSHED BELOW THE SURFACE OF THE BUMPER-NOT SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED. THE ONLY WAY TO REPAIR IS TO TAKE OUT THE HEADLIGHT TO GET TO IT TO PUSH IT BACK IN PLACE. THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT BUMPER HAS A TRIM PIECE THAT IS SCUFFED WHICH IS NORMAL AS THE CAR RIDES VERY LOW. THERE IS A VERY MINOR DING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. NO NOTICEABLE SCRATCHES OR CHIPS THAT I CAN SEE (BUT LETS ASSUME THERE ARE 1 OR 2 THAT I DIDN'T NOTICE FOR SAKE OF ARGUMENT) THE INTERIOR IS VERY NICE WITH THE LEATHER AND CARPET SHOWING NO WEAR. THERE ARE VERY MINOR SCUFFS ON THE DOOR/KICK PANEL FROM GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE CAR. THE INSIDE DOOR HANDLE AND STEERING WHEEL HAVE MINOR WEAR. THE A/C FAN SWITCH HAS THE SILVER PAINT WEARING OFF WHICH UNFORTUNATELY IS PRETTY COMMON FOR THESE CARS THIS CAR CAN BE SEEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND CAN BE INSPECTED BY A CERTIFIED MECHANIC. IT CURRENTLY DOES HAVE A PARTIAL LOAN ON IT AT A LOCAL BANK. FINANCING IS AVAILABLE AT A LOCAL DEALERSHIP THAT A FRIEND MANAGES. IT IS BEING SOLD BECAUSE IT IS A 3RD VEHICLE THAT ISN'T BEING USED ENOUGH. A $500 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS DUE UPON EBAY PURCHASE. YOU CAN FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CALL TO COME SEE IN PERSON 352-238-1985 |

Muffler Man gets racing suit to mark progress on Porsche Experience Center
Sat, 19 Oct 2013In a dramatic change of careers, a fiberglass Muffler Man statue on the side of a busy Los Angeles freeway, formerly known as "Golf Guy," traded in his clubs for a Porsche driver's suit a couple days ago. It's no coincidence, as he's standing on land that the German automaker bought from the Dominguez Hills Golf Course a couple years ago to build its west coast Porsche Experience Center - which will be complete with a test track, restoration and maintenance facilities, a cafe and restaurant, a home for Porsche Motorsports North America and more, when it's finished in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The Porsche Muffler Man will serve as the gatekeeper to the 53-acre center and overlook the test track on the side of the 405 freeway. We can't think of a better job for a fiberglass giant that used to watch golf all day than to watch Porsche road cars and racecars getting wrung out on a test track in the middle of LA. Since Muffler Men are quite adaptable, we're sure this one will fit into his new role in no time - just as easily as he can double as Paul Bunyan.
Check out the press release below for more information on the Muffler Man and the experience center, which could be the ultimate adult playground when it's finished.
Porsche Supercup racer dies in crash in Australia
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Even with great strides made towards increasing the safety of motor racing, fundamentally it's still a dangerous sport. And now it has claimed another life.
That life belonged to one Sean Edwards, an accomplished GT racing driver. Edwards was killed at Queensland Raceway in Australia, riding shotgun in a Porsche 996 GT3 while acting as instructor. The driver was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries. Sean Edwards was 26.
The son of former F1 driver Guy Edwards (whose car he drove in the filming of Rush), Sean won the European GT3 Championship in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and drove a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 to repeat victories at the 24 Hours of Dubai as well as this year's Nürburgring 24 Hours. Edwards had been competing in the Porsche Supercup, whose standings he currently leads with just two rounds to go, and could be crowned champion posthumously.
Porsche wants you to 3D print your own Cayman
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Have you got access to a 3D printer? Well lucky you, because as we're rapidly learning, the possibilities are virtually endless. And if your tastes lean towards the automotive (as we'd assume they do if you're reading this page), we've got good news.
Porsche has just released 3D printing data for the Cayman S so you can three-dimensionally print out your own and customize to your heart's content. Now Porsche hasn't specified just to what scale the data will allow you to print your Cayman, but we have a feeling that'd mostly be limited by the size of the printer at your disposal. Check it out in the video below and follow the link to the Porsche site to download the file.
