This is beautiful example of Porsche engineering. The last of the 911 series to still have the non-slanted front fenders yet having the modern 3.6 engine and updated suspension. The car is in excellent condition for its age. All electronics are in working order. The interior is a 9 with only minor flaws. No dash cracks but one window pad is cracked where the lock button exits. This is very thin area and prone to cracking. The passenger side is fine. The radio was replace by a previous owner. It sounds OK but I rarely turn it on. The only part missing other than tool kit is the engine plastic sub-pan these are generally removed for better cooling. The battery is fairly new, the tires were new last fall. The fan belt switch has been bypassed and should be replaced. There is a small area of rust starting on the drivers side headlight pan and a small scratch on the drivers side fender. A car check says that at some point it had minor damage. What that was I don't know. I can't find where it was. The wheels are 17" by 7" front and 17" by 9" rear. The car has automatic climate control so you just set it and it keeps the temp hot or cold. A/C has been converted to R134. The spare tire and jack are in the front boot but the tools kit is missing and there is no owners manual. I have had the car about 2 years and have fixed any issues I found on the car. Most of them typical, heater tube, clean the HVAC servers etc. I also installed a new sport clutch. The brake pads are in good shape and the brake system and AWD control system have had the fluid replaced and have been bled
Buyer is responsible for shipping the car and for paying the shipper. Do not ask me to do some sort money transfer to pay the shipper. The car is being sold AS/IS there is no warranty

Porsche reveals new Panamera Turbo S ahead of Tokyo debut
Thu, 31 Oct 2013For many buyers in the market for a luxury sports sedan, style is as important as performance. But while the Porsche Panamera undoubtedly delivers in the latter category, it falls somewhat short in the former. Porsche went to some lengths (if not quite far enough for some tastes) to improve its four-door model's visual appeal with the facelift revealed earlier this year, but now it's time to up the performance game with the new Panamera Turbo S.
Set to be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show in just a few weeks from now, the new top-tier Panamera benefits from several key upgrades over the existing Turbo and the pre-facelift Turbo S. For one, its 4.8-liter twin-turbo V8 now produces 570 horsepower (up from 520 in the new Turbo and 550 in the old Turbo S and the latest Cayenne Turbo S) and 553 pound-feet of torque (up from the current Turbo's 516 but the same as the previous model). Despite the power boost, however, Porsche is quoting the same 3.6-second 0-60 time for the new Panamera Turbo S as it did for the previous one - but then that hardly required improvement in the first place. Top speed, however, is up to 192 miles per Autobahn-blurring hour, two mph faster than the previous model.
Other features include carbon-ceramic brakes (hopefully with more durable bolts than sister companies Lamborghini and Bentley have been using) packed inside the wheels from the 911 Turbo and an exclusive shade of greige called Palladium. And for the first time, customers will be able to order this top-spec model in long-wheelbase Executive trim. But don't expect it to come cheap: MSRP (before delivery and options) is quoted at $180,300 for the standard wheelbase and $200,500 for the stretched model. That's two and a half times the price of a base Panamera, and makes the new Panamera Turbo S Executive both the most expensive and most powerful Porsche your can buy this side of a 918 Spyder. Haven't passed out yet? There's more to digest in the press release, so head on down below to take it all in.
This FL man accused of stealing drivers licenses has best tattoo ever
Thu, 10 Jul 2014Bentley and Porsche are two of the jewels in Volkswagen Group's luxury brand crown, but in Florida they also have a very tenuous connection with crime. With his multiple face and neck tattoos, including a Bentley logo right between his eyes, Derek Denesevich (pictured above) has been charged with the surprising crime of alleged identity theft. He recently surrendered to a Florida court, and could face seven years in prison, if convicted.
You might wonder where Porsche fits into this. According to the Sun Sentinel, Denesevich's accomplice was one Porscha Kyles, who worked for the Broward Clerk of Courts. She allegedly used her access to driver's license records to steal information and sell it to Denesevich. He is then accused of filing fraudulent income taxes to recoup the refund checks.
According to the Sentinel, Kyles has already pleaded guilty to conspiracy and identity theft and was sentenced to three years and one day in prison. The duo reportedly stole over 100 identities and made at least $120,000. Scroll down for a video about this pair of auto-related criminals.
Porsche offering short-term loans to Macan waitlisters
Wed, 02 Jul 2014Walk into a Porsche dealer today, place an order for a Macan and you'll be looking at a waiting period of six months or more before you can expect delivery. That may be common enough for high-end European automakers, but the Macan is meant to lure new buyers to the brand, and the waitlist could be enough to deter them from sticking around.
The solution? Offer to lease them a Boxster or Cayman until their new Macan arrives. Shorter in term that the usual new-car lease, these six-month terms are designed to keep buyers from turning their backs, all the while experiencing the kind of vehicle Porsche does best.
Of course it doesn't hurt that the dealer then gets a used sports car to sell again once the short-term lease is up. And we wouldn't be surprised to see some buyers asking to hold on to their mid-engined sports car for a little longer, either.
