Currently was a 1 owner car that we purchased from uncle that he bought off showroom floor. All original paint is in fair shape but needs repainted. Baack driver taillight was bumped into while brought home needs minor body work. Already took headliner and carpet out so who ever restores can put what color they want. Runs and drives great. Would make a great show car."

This is a 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500. This is a good driving vehicle. I originally was going to restore myself, but instead now with 6 kids I don't have the time or need to do so. Along the way.... after purchasing from my uncle (whom bought it new) and has since passed... I have replaced a few parts. Water pump and generator belt, voltage regulator, solenoid valve and maybe a couple others I have forgotten. The car otherwise, is all original and I reaaaaalllly hate to sell...but like I said earlier I have a LARGE family. It has 97,900 miles. Depending on distance, (at buyers expense...will deliver). This is what a 3D-printed liquid metal Ford Torino looks like

Artist Ioan Florea has encapsulated a 1971 Ford Torino with 3-D-printed liquid metal transferred onto the car using technology that he developed, and the result is a stunningly shiny, seamless design.
"The surface has the highest coefficient of reflectivity never achieved before," Florea told us in an e-mail, using "nano-materials and nano-pigments that create an internal three-dimensional structure and dictate the polymer how to behave." Sure... We'll leave it to him to make any more 3-D-printed liquid metal-transferred art pieces.
Florea grew up in Romania, and the motivation behind picking the old Ford as his canvas came from his childhood memories of what an American car is - "big and wide and fascinating," he says - and the European name of the car itself, which it shares with an Italian city.

2012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
2013 North American Car of the Year:
