This is a 1955 Ford Truck F100 Custom Cab, I have not had the truck long just picked it up as it was sitting for a few years. This is a Running Truck that Runs good but will need some carb work and maybe points. I changed plugs, changed oil and she fired up and I have driven the truck several times around the block with no problems. It Will Still Need some work to make road worthy. It has original V8 motor with Dual Exhaust added and also has Power Brake Booster added between the frame rails. Trans is a 3 speed Overdrive trans, It seems to be working like it should. I am not real familiar with the OD trans. Body is In Great Condition! No Rust that I can Find anywhere, this has only One Paint job over Original Paint as you can see Original Paint in a lot of areas coming through. The paint on truck now is older paint that I had cleaned up. It needs paint or leave like this and drive! Cab Corner!! Good Roof Good!! Fenders and other body good!!! has a couple of dents here and there but nothing bad at all!! Please see pic of dent on lower front fender. (that's the worst dent) Both Door Glass are cracked and the driver wind wing is missing. I do have an old one that will go with truck. Frame is Original Uncut and good, will need some cleaning as there is Oil here and there. Interior is good nice Dash uncut and this Truck has been converted over to 12V with new wiring harness that the previous owner did. Looks good but I still unhook battery when left over night. Just don't know enough about the truck, I have put a new battery, Front lights work and wipers, will need tail lights hooked up. Has plywood in Bed. Over all this is a good truck for someone who wants to drive and fix as u go. Remember this is an old Truck it steers like one!!! I am trying to describe the truck the best I can. I have not have it long. Title is Clear and in My name with a Ca Non Op. I will sell overseas and will help with loading on my end as much as possible. There will be a $500.00 Deposit due within 3 days at end of auction through pay pal with the remaining balance to be paid within 6 Days at end of auction Unless other arrangements are made! it will be Cash, or Certified Bank Cashers Check Or Bank Transfer. This is a Running Project and will need Some attention to Make Road worthy!!! so will need to be trailered to new Home!!! If you have any Questions Please ask!!!

Ford moving medium-duty F-Series production from Mexico to Ohio
Thu, 27 Feb 2014
A few more Ford trucks will be built in the US in the near future with news that production of the F-650 and F-750 medium-duty trucks will move from Mexico to Ford's Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, OH. Ford hasn't confirmed a precise timeline for the move, but The Detroit News claims the Blue Oval will make the shift later this year or in early 2015.
As Ford spokesperson Mike Levine reminded us, back in 2011, Ford announced in an investor release that it would shift production "after the [Ohio] plant stops current production of the Ford E-Series vans." According to that release, the Ohio factory will also receive $128 million in upgrades to build the new trucks, plus the F53 motorhome chassis and F59 commercial chassis.
Did a US automaker blow the whistle on Hyundai, Kia fuel economy issue?
Mon, 17 Dec 2012In all of the most hotly contested mainstream segments of the motoring universe, the difference of one mile per gallon averaged on a widow sticker can mean the difference between a sale and a walk-off - to say nothing of two or three mpg. So, when Hyundai and Kia were forced to reveal that many of their 40-mpg ratings were actually 38s and 37s, well, it made for big news.
It also, conceivably, made for a competitive disadvantage immediately, when the Korean automakers' products were being shopped versus the guys down the block. And it's that disadvantage that makes a recent story from Automotive News so juicy.
AN is reporting that Margo Oge, former head of the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, got a tip in 2010 that Hyundai/Kia were "cheating" to get its impressive fuel economy numbers. The tip, said Oge (who retired from the EPA this past September), came from a senior vice president from a domestic automaker. The source was credible enough for Oge to launch an audit of the Hyundai figures, which ultimately lead to the debacle that we reported on a few months ago, and that the Korean company has been trying to bounce back from ever since.
Ford EcoBoost V6 hits the dyno before hitting the track
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Ford Racing just unveiled the Riley Daytona Prototype that will make its racing in the United SportsCar Racing Championship Rolex 24 at Daytona in January, and now it has released a video showing development of twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that powers the car. Using the same block and heads that can be found on a production Ford Taurus SHO, this new racecar benefits from the collaboration between Ford Racing and Ford powertrain engineers.
While we still don't know what kind of power this engine is putting out, it has definitely gotten a workout at Ford's 17G dyno. This area deep within Ford allows the automaker's racing program to work hand-in-hand with production engine programs, which can be a benefit to racing operations and production cars alike. Scroll down to hear a few people from Ford talk about the crosspollination between its racing and engine teams and watch the EcoBoost get red hot on the dyno.
