VERY LOW RESERVE ** PRICED TO SELL ** VERY LOW RESERVE ** PRICED TO SELL As for the cosmetics of this HotRod - this truck is NOT A SHOW TRUCK I would call it a "10 footer" (looks great from 10 feet away) My Friend rebuilt this truck from the ground up with a whole NEW FRONT CLIP (fenders and hood) NEW WINDSHILED AND GASKET, CUSTOM STEERING WHEEL, TINTED WINDOWS, NEW DOOR PANELS, DOOR/WINDOW SEALS, The seat is a bench seat with a middle console from a newer truck, the bed has a SPRAY ON BED LINER. I have to admit the color choice is not one I would have picked but its green with some metallic flakes. In the right light you can see inconsistencies in the metallic flake. Also there are some runs in a couple areas on the roof of the truck. The wheels are American Racing with low profile radial tires with lots of tread life. I bought a spare tire for it when I was taking it on long trips (its never been used so its like new) The truck is extremely reliable for an antique. I have taken it on multiple trips to Missouri (couple hours from here) never once had any issues. The one thing that does need addressed is the brakes. I took the truck out for the first time in months the other day and the brakes werent very responsive (probably just need bled because they worked great six months ago) Another thing that I have noticed is some signs of rust and a couple spots as shown in the photos. And one last thing the gauges on the dash weren't working this last time I took it out either (not sure what caused that) My friend INVESTED OVER $7,000 into this truck and I hate to part with it especially since I bought it at a fraction of that price at $1500 but it has just been sitting and it needs to go to someone that can show it off and appreciate it. Feel free to send me a message with any further questions or photos. You will see there is also video posted so you can hear it run. I am not looking to get rich off this truck only interested in getting the money I have invested back so the RESERVE IS SET EXTREMELY LOW VERY LOW RESERVE ** PRICED TO SELL ** VERY LOW RESERVE ** PRICED TO SELL |

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a lean, mean, Z/28-fighting machine [w/video]
Mon, 17 Nov 2014If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.
It looks to be a fine piece of work, this Mustang, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that will produce "more than 500 horsepower" and "above 400" pound-feet of torque. That grunt runs to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and a Torsen limited-slip differential keeps everything in line.
But that's hardly the most impressive piece of the GT350 puzzle. Ford has increased the Mustang GT's chassis stiffness for duty here in the Shelby, and the coupe employs MagneRide damping which automatically adjusts based on road conditions and driver inputs. It's a first both for the Blue Oval and for the segment. And speaking of firsts, the GT350 uses a flat-plane crankshaft - something Ford has never included in a production V8 before.

Ford acquires Livio to bolster connectivity biz
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Ford Motor Company has announced the acquisition of Livio, a Ferndale, MI-based software development company best known for aftermarket in-car connectivity devices, but also as a supplier of technology for proprietary systems for automakers. Livio, co-founded by Sigal and Massimo Baldini, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Global Technologies.
"With the additional expertise Livio provides us, Ford intends to continue to lead the next generation of in-car connectivity with technology advancements that give consumers more options to access their devices on the go," said Paul Mascarenas, chief technical officer and vice president, Ford Research and Innovation, in a statement.
Ford is clearly trying to beef up its in-house tech capability around telematics and device connectivity. While the Blue Oval has been a leader in these areas with SYNC and MyFord Touch in terms of getting the systems into as many cars as possible, the execution of the applications have been criticized for glitches.
