You are bidding on a 1978 Dodge 1 Ton 2 Wheel Drive Extened Cab Long Bed. It has 440-3 with a 727 Automatic, Dana 70 with 4.10 Gears. The motor was a new Chrysler crate motor in 1995 currently it has 60,000 miles on it, the transmission is original to the truck and we overhauled it in 2002. The motor is stock except for Headman Ellite Headers and Edelbrock Carb. IT has many new or updated parts under the hood Radiator, water pump, belts, fuel pump, new Mopar Electronic Ignition. We used it to pull a Hot Rod Pulling Tractor around. The bed is all custome made with real metal, unlike these new tin can beds. The tires are like new with about 7500 miles on them. The truck does have some rust spots and is in need of a paint job the interior is in fair to good condtion no rips or tears just aged. The truck does start and run good if you were going to put this back on the road pulling a trailer I would go through the brakes as its been probably 10 years since we did pads shoes and rotors and drum. This truck comes with 3" and 2 5/16 gooseneck ball and a slide receiver bumper hitch. This truck has all the A/C under the hood however it does not work, it has crank windows, power brakes and steering. Good Luck bidding

The truck is located in Belton MO 10 miles south of Kansas City MO . This truck is an original dual rear wheel truck.

Weekly Recap: Things you might not know about the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats

Sat, 16 Aug 2014

If you're an enthusiast, and you don't know that Dodge spawned another Hellcat this week, you really must have been living in cave. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is probably the biggest news for enthusiasts since the reveal of, well the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.

Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.

South Dakota dealer filled to brim with classic cars

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

Other than the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Mount Rushmore, South Dakota isn't generally a hot topic, but that just means that cool stuff can hide in the open waiting to be discovered. Case in point: the classic car dealer Frankman Motor Company that operates three locations in Sioux Falls, SD.
Unearthed by the folks at Bring a Trailer, Frankman is a treasure trove of vintage, American iron. Their collection is full of the type of vehicles your irresponsible but cool uncle would show up with when you were a kid. Even better, these cars are priced at a level a working man can afford.
If you are lusting about a cruiser then Frankman has a 1956 Cadillac Deville Hard Top Sedan (pictured right) with 82,896 miles for $12,975. It's painted a color called Cascade Grey, but looks more like a pastel purple in pictures. While it needs some repairs to the accessories, the Caddy runs and drives, which is all you really need.
