1959 Chevrolet NAPCO 4x4 Stepside  truck, 7300 GVW 3/4 Ton 261cid  6 cylinder
Original  Montana Farm truck used on a farm rarely on the road
Now used around town on short trips. Engine is strong and shifts well.
From the History that I have on the truck it has always been a Montana Farm Truck and is believed to be close to actual miles.

Engine runs like new, no smoke, no ticks, no knocks.

With a Stock height of near 7ft from the ground to the top of the roof this Chevy 36 series just barely sneaks under a standard 7ft door as seen in the 2nd picture.  This Napco Truck stands out and demands attention unlike other Chevy single wheel trucks of this era ,
chances are slim to see another on the road or at a car show with this stance unless modified or unoriginal, this is the original Monster truck from the 50's!

NAPCO components are original and were installed at the factory, not an add on

Stock 4 speed Transmission
shifts well through the gears
Transfer Case inners in perfect  working  ,shown in pictures through access cover, access cover removed for oil change.
Front axle needs attn on drivers side ,not locking

Cab is very solid with a few rust areas none structural,  misc dents, dings
Paint is a faded factory stock Yellow ,bed is fair cond in Gray primer and has been added.
Floor is solid
Cab steps are solid
Stock bench seat needs redone
Power  brakes
spare tire and rim included

Clear title

Truck must be paid for in 5 business days
Will store truck for short time while waiting for truck to be picked up as long as paid in full

if you have any questions please ask i will answer

Q:  Hey I thought you would like to know your truck is a factory Napco not a dealership conversion. The gross vehicle wieght is 7300 lbs a dealership conversion is the standard 6900 lbs. The factory always added in the extra wieght of the transfer case & front diff. A factory Napco transfer case support & shift lever support would always be rivited a dealership conversion would always be bolted Basically your truck is rarer & more collectable worth more $. Regards Doug

A:  Thanks for the info Doug, The tag in the picture certainly does show the higher weight, i missed that one, I,m sure this will be a great investment and a lucrative venture for any buyer, hate to see it go but i've got too many irons in the fire at this time......

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
To see what Team Chevy has been up to all off-season, check out all three videos posted after the jump.

GM cutting Chevy Sonic, Buick Verano production [UPDATE]

Sun, Jan 25 2015

UPDATE: A previous version of this story indicated that Orion Assembly would be idled for seven weeks, from February 16 through April 6. This was incorrect. The factory will instead only be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6. The story has been edited to reflect this. General Motors has announced that the factory responsible for the Buick Verano and Chevrolet Sonic will be idled for the weeks of February 16 and April 6, with blame being placed on excess supply. The Orion Assembly plant, about 45 minutes north of GM's Renaissance Center headquarters, employs about 1,800 people, but they'll be given a pair of furloughs as inventories of the sub-compact Sonic and premium compact Verano reach 127 days and 84 days, respectively. That works out to 26,600 Chevys and 9,800 Buicks waiting for buyers. According to Automotive News, the compact Chevy sales bested the industry average in 2014, jumping up nine percent versus the the overall segment's eight-percent gain, while the Buick sedan's sales were down four percent. When asked about the shutdown, a GM spokesman told AN that it will "build to market demand," while also pointing out that the company did not comment on production plans. Cadillac Celestiq, Lyriq, Hummer, other future GM electric cars: Here's everything we saw at ‘EV Day’

Wed, Mar 4 2020

WARREN, Mich. — Today, General Motors held an “EV Day” event at its Warren, Michigan, campus to present its new “Ultium” battery technology, modular electric vehicle architecture and soon-to-come electric vehicles. Unfortunately, we were forbidden from bringing cameras into the event, so while we canÂ’t show you what we saw, we can tell you more about it. While we saw the previously teased Cadillac EV (which we now know to be called the Lyriq) and the GMC Hummer pickup teased during the Super Bowl, there were a number of other future cars at the event, which GM President Mark Reuss assured us are all real vehicles in the works. The biggest surprise came at the end of the event, though, in the Cadillac Celestiq electric sedan, which Reuss described as a future flagship that would be hand-built “very locally.” It had been hiding under a dark sheet all morning, with the front and rear illuminated Cadillac emblems shining from underneath. When the wraps came off, we saw a long, white, four-seat fastback sedan. The 23-inch wheels were pushed out to the very corners of the car, giving it what appeared to be a very long wheelbase. The model on the stage had no side mirrors or visible door handles. The grille mirrored that of the Lyriq crossover next to it, with integrated lighting in lieu of the usual mesh or slats youÂ’d see in an internal combustion car. The entire roof, all the way until it tapered to the tail of the vehicle, was tinted glass. In back, vertical tail lighting ran down the C-pillar before turning rearward across the top of the trunk. Inside, everything below the beltline of the windows — essentially all but the headrests and top portion of the steering wheel, was hidden from view. Behind the Celestiq, a large digital display showed a rendering of its interior. The dash consists of a pillar-to-pillar curved LED display serving as both instrument panel and infotainment system. Protruding forward between the front seats was another touchscreen that appeared to house some more controls, with open area, probably for storage, below it. The rear seats had the same sort of touchscreen between them. Built into the back of the front seats were a pair of rear-seat entertainment screens, much like we saw in the Lyriq. The door panels blended wood, metal and animated lighting to give character and a sense of opulence. GM interior design manager Tristan Murphy was on hand to tell us a bit more about the Celestiq.
