SEE all pictures of what you get at  bridgewaymotors   dot com click on For Sale and click on the 59 Veloce

Chassis Certified by Marco Fazio (see below) as a Veloce, originally Red, manufactured on 2-16-1959 and sold to Hoffman Motor Cars on 3-3-1959

For sale is a project car that I don’t have the time to finish. I bought it a few years ago and assembled additional parts so that it is close to having all the parts, some in restored condition, some in usable unrestored condition and the balance in restorable condition. Needless to say the value of these cars continue to rise with correctly restored cars listed in the $140,000 range with many believing that prices are still on the rise.

PLEASE NOTE: WHAT COMES WITH THIS CAR IS PICTURED ON  BRIDGEWAYMOTORS dot COM / FORSALE. PLEASE ONLY ASSUME IF IT’S IN THE PICTURE THAT IT COMES WITH THE CAR. HOWEVER…I DO HAVE OTHER PARTS THAT WILL GO WITH IT THAT MIGHT NOT BE IN THESE PICS SO PLEASE ASK IF YOU SEE SOMETHING MISSING.

PEASE NOTE: SOME OF THE PICTURES SHOW THE CAR PARTIALLY ASSEMBLED – IT IS CURRENTLY NOT ASSEMBLED-SEE THOSE PICS

Rebuilt and Resealed Veloce Motor Ready to go!

The motor is correct with a block number of AR1315 -32326 for the 1959 Veloce Spider Series F. These previous owner states that the motor was rebuilt in 1994 by Dan Marvin/Jon Norman shop although there is no paperwork for that. Recently (May 2014) then engine was taken apart to inspect that the storage had not deteriorate any parts, to be able to photograph and to reseal EVERYTHING. This motor is a complete rebuild and reseal and is ready to drop in and go. Comes with the amazingly hard to find DCO3 weber sand cast Veloce carbs.

Body and Body Parts

The body and parts have been disassembled in preparation for the needed body work. The body has rust in many spots as you can see and while the floors look like they might be okay they need to be inspected after the body is blasted clean. There is front damage and I have another Veloce clip that goes with it, see pics. The wheel wells were cut but I have the replacement metal, the trunk and rockers need new metal. There are many pictures, please review carefully.

Trim and Interior

I have many of the parts including many hard to find parts such as the correct seats, seat rails, restored Veloce tac, stainless trim, steering wheel, steering wheel insert, new radio blanking plate and much more…please see pictures.

The hottest modern sports cars rendered as rally racers

Thu, Jan 14 2016

The modern-day World Rally Championship a monumental amount of fun to watch – I should know, as I recently was lucky enough to head to the UK to watch WRC Wales Rally GB – but even the most monstrous of the current WRC cars are based on fairly pedestrian European hatchbacks. Back in the heyday of rally, the Group B era in the 1980s, much hotter cars were the basis of even more incredible competition machines, for the most part. Take the exotic Ford RS200, or the Lancia Delta S4 with its twin-charged engine. And the hatchback-based Group B cars were bonkers, too. So what would some of our favorite modern cars look like if Group B had never ended? A British site named CarWow hired an artist to reimagine everything from the Rolls-Royce Wraith to the Porsche 911 as a retro-inspired rally car, and they were kind enough to let us share the results in the gallery above. The gallery features an Alfa Romeo Giulia in Martini livery, an Audi TT in classic Ur-Quattro colors, a Fiat 500 Abarth sporting massive flares and a hood blister full of auxiliary lights, a new Ford Mustang in RS200 livery, a Lancia Delta in Alitalia colors, a Porsche 911 in Rothmans livery, a Renault-Alpine in classic blue, a Rolls-Royce Wraith tribute to the Jules cologne Corniche Coupe, and a relatively modern-looking VW Touran. So far, the favorite around the office is the incredible Mercedes-Benz S-Class that is an homage to the wonderful 300 SEL 6.8 AMG "Red Pig" that essentially put AMG on the map. Check out the gallery above and see which one you like the best. Related Video:

Stellantis sees vehicle loan durations extended amid banking turmoil

Tue, Apr 4 2023

Stellantis is seeing clients seeking longer-term financing and leasing deals for their vehicles as a consequence of higher global interest rates, the carmaker's head for the business said. Chief Affiliates Officer Philippe de Rovira said loans which normally had a three-year maturity were now increasingly moved to four years. "This allows customers to get a car for a monthly instalment that is similar to that they had before," he said. The world's third largest carmaker by sales on Tuesday announced it had completed a plan announced in late 2021 to reshuffle and simplify its leasing and financing operations in Europe. Under its terms, Stellantis created a 50-50 single long term multi-brand leasing company named Leasys with Credit Agricole Consumer Finance. It also set up local joint ventures in European countries for its new Stellantis Financial Services unit, formerly Banque PSA Finance, with BNP Paribas Personal Finance and Santander Consumer Finance. "These banks have always had better funding conditions than those we can have as an automaker," de Rovira said. Benefits of the plan included cutting the number of financing and leasing entities the group runs in each country and the number of IT systems it uses, with expected savings exceeding 30% in this particular area, he added. De Rovira said the group had a huge portfolio of orders it had not yet delivered due to supply chain shortages impacting production. "Demand is not our main issue. The issue is to deliver as fast as we can cars that are in our order portfolio, which is still at record levels," he said. The group aims to expand its corporate leased vehicle fleet to more than one million units in 2026 and to double net income from its so-called banking activities to 5.8 billion euros ($6.3 billion) by 2030. De Rovira said Stellantis was not seeing a downward trend in vehicle pricing. "Probably the significant price increases we have seen in 2021 and 2022 will not be repeated because the context is changing, but for the moment we don't see decreases, we see stabilisation". Alfa Romeo limits Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio NRING editions to 110 units

Wed, Apr 17 2019

The 505-horsepower Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the 505-horsepower Giulia Quadrifoglio are two of the most exclusive, powerful, and attractive four-door vehicles on the market. In the past, they've both set records at Germany's Nurburgring, and Alfa has created limited-edition packages to honor the spirit of the legendary racetrack. The NRING-edition cars will be limited to 110 total examples. If this sounds familiar, it's because the idea is not new. In June of 2018, Alfa Romeo announced NRING packages for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. At the time, we believed the special-editions would not be coming to America; turns out we were incorrect. The tweaks start with the paint, as the NRING cars are only available in matte Circuito Gray. As its association with motorsport and racing continues, carbon fiber has been applied to the mirror caps, the "V scudetto" front grille, the roof on the Giulia, and the side sills on the Stelvio. Red brake calipers with white scrip hide behind dark 19-inch wheels on the Giulia and 20-inch wheels on the Stelvio. The Stelvio also gets a dual-pane sunroof. Inside, Alfa Romeo added a carbon fiber steering wheel, a carbon fiber shifter bezel, a serial number badge on the passenger dash, and red and black leather with red contrast stitching on the seats. Light-up carbon fiber side sills are applied to the Giulia, and carbon fiber Sparco racing seats are optional on both cars. The NRING cars also come with the convenience package, the driver assistance dynamic package, and the premium alarm system. Unfortunately, there's no mention of the "Welcome Kit" the other markets got, which is a bummer. Who doesn't want racing gloves, a jacket, and a scale model? Alfa Romeo lists the 2019 Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING at $91,485 with destination, which is $15,895 more than the Giulia Quad's $75,590 starting price. The Stelvio NRING is $97,485, also up $15,895 from the $81,590 starting price. Only 55 examples of each car will be built.
