Up for sale is my wife's beautiful 2008 Volvo XC-90 AWD V6.  This Volvo is amazing and in incredible condition.  This Volvo has only 80K miles and runs and drives like new.  The Volvo is AWD, All-Wheel-Drive, with the 3.2L I6 cylinder engine that gets great gas mileage around town as well as on the highway.  This Volvo has an excellent tow package and handles very well with a load behind..  This XC-90 has third row seats with Rear A/C as well.

The Interior of the Volvo is in excellent condition with no rips or tears in the seats or carpets.  There are no funny smells and this Volvo has NEVER been smoked in.  We have rarely used the rear seat and almost Never used the third row.

The A/C blows ICE COLD every time and the heater works great aswell.  The Heated seats heat up quick and will keep your buns toasty even in the coldest weather.

This volvo is truly LOADED with all the options including power seats, power windows, sunroof, heated seats, premium sound system, power fold in mirrors, Locking child lock feature that you control from the front seat,  Adjustable rear seats for more leg room and more storage, aux input, brand new tires and so much more!!

This Volvo does great in the snow or rainy conditions.  The AWD is really amazing when in full effect.

I was in the car business for many many years and owned my own dealership up until about 1 year ago.  I purchased this Volvo from an auction about 4 years ago when it was still like brand spankin new.  When I purchased it, it came from seattle washington and had been rear-ended in a minor accident.  I purchased it with a "bill of sale only" as the sales document.  I learned after purchasing it that in Washington, when a vehicle is involved in an accident they take the title away.  Once the vehicle is fixed you can take the vehicle to washington MVD where they will inspect it and award you a clean Washington title in return.  Because I was in Arizona and did not have time to make the trip to washington, I decided to apply for an Arizona title instead.. I was awarded a clean and clear AZ title with no brands or anything out of the ordinary.  I do not know what the current status is in Washington, but I know that I have a clean and clear AZ title and have the vehicle registered in AZ.

I liked this Volvo so much that out of all of the vehicles I have purchased over the years, this is the one I decided to keep.  My wife has loved everything about this car and would keep it if she had the option.  Unfortunatly, We do not have any use for this extra vehicle anymore and have decided to sell it.

The Volvo is today exactly as it was the day that I purchased it 4 years ago.  I have a quote from a PDR company (paintless- Dent- Repair) to fix the tailgate and the dent above the gas tank for only 250 bucks.. That is with no paint or body work of any kind.  They say that they can just pop the dents out and the paint will remain factory.  I havent had it done because I always knew I would sell it one day anyways.

As you can see in the pictures, There is minor damage on the rear tailgate as well as just above the gas cap opening.  These things can both be proffessionally repaired for about 250 bucks...

If you have any questions at all about this Volvo or about my Camaro That I am Also Selling please feel free to give me a call at 480-720-3435 ANYTIME!!

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION and this Volvo XC-90 will be SOLD to the highest bidder.

So get your bids in and STAY ON TOP!!!!

Thanks, GOOD LUCK~!~~~!!~!!!~!!!!!  602-339-1595

Volvo demos autonomous self-parking car concept

Thu, 20 Jun 2013

A number of companies are developing autonomous vehicle technology - Google and Audi come to mind - but Volvo is applying its work in the area to a particular usage case: parking. The Swedish automaker has the technology up and running in a concept vehicle, which it says can be dropped off at the curb by its owner and left to its own devices to enter and navigate a car park, then find and park in an available parking spot. Volvo says the process can even be reversed when the owner is ready to go, with the car leaving the car park on its own to meet its key-holder again at the curb.
The vehicle first interacts with Vehicle 2 Infrastructure technology, which places transmitters in the road itself to inform the car (and driver) if the self-parking service is available. The driver then hops out, activates the Self Parking function on his or her smartphone and then leaves the car to do its work. The car uses sensors, all seemingly hidden from view (an advancement of its own in this field), to autonomously navigate the car park, which includes interacting and adjusting to other cars, people and objects.
The technology used here builds off of Volvo's other work in autonomous vehicle research, namely the Safe Road Trains for the Environment (SARTRE) project in which the company managed to create a train of four cars autonomously following a lead truck at speeds up 56 miles per hour. Volvo says the first application of its autonomous research in a production vehicle will happen at the end of 2014 with some level of autonomous steering available in the next-generation XC90. LOLVO Volvo V60 video leverages the power of cats on cars

Wed, 02 Jul 2014

You know what we haven't posted in a long time? A very weird, car-related video. It's high time we address this failing.
As strange videos go, this one is truly bizarre. The two-minute clip focuses on the Volvo V60 R-Design, although you're not going to be learning anything about the car. Instead, you're going to be focused on the weird narrator (and the cat decals on the windows).
It's like someone taught the Swedish Chef to speak English, but with a ridiculous accent and a script that's been fed through Google Translate. The result is a weirdly cerebral voice speaking in a manner that borders on gibberish mixed with information about the car. We're particularly fond of, "In accordance with Volvo tradition... the car... is... of course... furnished, with an inside." "Floor bibs," in reference to the floor mats, was an office favorite, as well.

Leno shows off his current project cars

Mon, Aug 10 2015

When your car collection grows to the enormous size of Jay Leno's, adding the usual muscle cars or European exotics loses the allure. It becomes necessary to start taking the things in weird directions. Leno is proving just that with his latest tour of many of the ongoing projects currently happening in the garage. With everything from Harley-Davidson generators to '50s hot rods on display just in this short video, there's something any fan can love. The place is like an automotive wonderland. For most people any one of these projects would be an absolute dream. For example, Leno has a copy of a one-off Mercedes-Benz racecar transporter that is nearly ready to drive. Another project hasn't even started yet but already seriously piqued our interest. Leno obtained a very ratty 1966 Volvo 122S wagon, but rather than just a restoration he's has a plan to get a V8 with a flat-plane crank from Volvo performance specialists Polestar. Another project on the way should provide a significant upgrade in performance, while still being quite green. Leno's team has already rebuilt the frame and wooden body from a 1914 Detroit Electric, and with that work done they've started dreaming of a modern drivetrain for it. One proposed candidate for the swap has been to install motor from a Nissan Leaf and a bank of lithium-ion batteries.
