I just bought a new car and want to sell this - offering at very low price, so I don't have to spend much time. Call me at 702-496-0079 if interested.
I'm the original owner and have always kept it in a garage. It has relatively low miles (79k, so it's averaged about 11k per yr). It's been fantastic for my family -- safe, fun, comfortable, spacious, stylish, you name it. It's really well designed and fits a ton. Also, it has a third row of seats along with built-in booster seats. It's spacious and convenient like an SUV but drives like a car. I've always serviced it on time and as recommended at the Volvo dealer, and the car has never had any problem whatsoever. It's loaded -- I don't know of anything it doesn't have. I even replaced the stereo, so it has Bluetooth for your phone (I'll also include the original stereo).
There's a car on autotrader that appears to be nearly identical (it's even within 100 miles), and it's listed for $18,000 (plus tax because it's sold by a dealer). Craigslist won't let me link to autotrader, but I can send the url upon request.
Call me at 702-496-0079 if you're interested. I'm very motivated to sell it quickly and would prefer not to sell it to a dealer (ie Carmax) -- this way I can get more and somebody else can save more. I can forward the Carfax report if you're interested.
FEATURES: Power Steering,Power Door Locks,Power Windows,Power Drivers Seat,Seat Memory Controls,Tachometer,Air Conditioning,Tilt Steering Wheel,Cruise Control,Driver Side Air Bag,Climate Control,Side Impact Protection SIPS,Curtain Side Impact Sys,Dual Electric Sport Mirrors,Front Bucket Seats,Reclining Seats,Leather Upholstery,Power Sunroof,Sport Steering Wheel,Anti-Lock Braking System,Alloy Wheels,Traction Assistance/Control,Interval Wipers,Rear Defroster,Rear Window Wiper,Remote Fuel Door,Heated Seat,Auto Headlamp On/Off-Delay,Console,Center Arm Rest,Map Lights,Inside Hood Release,Sunroof Cover,Fold Down Rear Seat,Fog Lights,Child-Proof Locks,AM/FM/CD Stereo w/ Bluetooth for cell, Passenger Side Airbag

NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022
Thu, Mar 17 2016The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and virtually every automaker in the US domestic market have announced a pact to make automatic emergency braking standard by 2022. Here's the full rundown of companies involved: BMW, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo (not to mention the brands that fall under each automaker's respective umbrella). Like we reported yesterday, AEB will be as ubiquitous in the future as traction and stability control are today. But the thing to note here is that this is not a governmental mandate. It's truly an agreement between automakers and the government, a fact that NHTSA claims will lead to widespread adoption three years sooner than a formal rule. That fact in itself should prevent up to 28,000 crashes and 12,000 injuries. The agreement will come into effect in two waves. For the majority of vehicles on the road – those with gross vehicle weights below 8,500 pounds – AEB will need to be standard equipment by September 1, 2022. Vehicles between 8,501 and 10,000 pounds will have an extra three years to offer AEB. "It's an exciting time for vehicle safety. By proactively making emergency braking systems standard equipment on their vehicles, these 20 automakers will help prevent thousands of crashes and save lives," said Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in an official statement. "It's a win for safety and a win for consumers." Read on for the official press release from NHTSA. Automakers making the commitment are Audi, BMW, FCA US LLC, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla Motors Inc., Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo Car USA.
Ford tumbles to second worst in Consumer Reports reliability survey, list dominated by Japanese [w/video]
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It's no secret that MyFord Touch has had its share of problems since being introduced, but the most recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports shows just how much this infotainment system has affected Ford. Just two years ago, the automaker was in the top 10 for the institute's reliability rankings, but since then, it has tumbled to the second-lowest rung just above dead-last Jaguar. In addition to MyFord Touch, CR also attributes a handful of new products that have had issues right out of the gate.
Compiled from 1.2 million subscriber surveys, this year's auto reliability survey heavily favors Japanese automakers, with eight of the 10 spots hailing from Japan. Toyota brands grabbed the top three spots (Scion, Toyota and Lexus - in that order) with Mazda, Subaru, Honda and Acura filling the next four spots. The only non-Asian automaker cracking the top 10 was Audi at number eight.
Audi climbed a total of 18 spots from last year, and Cadillac and GMC round out this year's top gainers breaking into the top 15. Helping Cadillac's upward movement, the CTS Coupe was named the most reliable domestic car. Lincoln, Volvo and Chrysler join Ford on this year's biggest loser list.
2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volvo XC40 Recharge score high in IIHS tests
Thu, Apr 22 2021New electric cars continue their streak of impressive crash test results. The two latest to go through Insurance Institute for Highway Safety testing are the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and the 2021 Volvo XC40 Recharge. The former earned a Top Safety Pick award, and the latter picked up the Top Safety Pick+ commendation. Both vehicles got the top "Good" rating in every crash test, as well as the "Superior" rating for vehicle-to-vehicle collision prevention. They deviate when it comes to headlights and vehicle-to-pedestrian collision prevention. Because the Volvo has headlights rated "Good" on all trims, it got that extra "+" on its Top Safety Pick award. The Ford also has high-rated headlights available, but the standard units got the second lowest rating of "Marginal." As for the vehicle-to-pedestrian collision prevention, the Volvo received the second-highest "Advanced" rating, while the Ford was rated "Superior." Among the electric cars IIHS has tested, the Ford and Volvo continue a streak of high scores. The organization has evaluated the Audi E-Tron in both its body styles, as well as the Tesla Model 3, both of which get the Top Safety Pick+ rating. As a result of the XC40 Recharge's test score, Volvo pointed out that it is the only automaker whose entire lineup has received a Top Safety Pick+ rating.
