2000 VOLVO S80 2.9LT INLINE 6CY This 2000 Volvo has been a terrific car the past 14 years and now I am in the process of looking for a new vehicle that I hope can be as well made as this one. There are some issues with the vehicle, as you can see the price reflects the shape of the vehicle. There is obviously the tear in the driver seat as you see, along with I can not get one of the head lights to stay in, when light is in it does work I just can not get it to stay in (I am not mechanical, so it may be an easy fix). The Volvo does come with new front tires on it that are less then a year old. Please feel free to message me for further info. NOTE: BUYER IS TO SUBMIT PAYMENT VIA CERTIFIED CHECK/BANK CHECK. Volvo brings a whole new 2014 showroom for Geneva's approval
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Sometimes it takes smaller automakers a bit longer than the industry average to rotate and freshen their product lineups. Volvo has taken a big swing for the 2014 model year in that regard, and has brought along a full product portfolio of new cars.
In the main, this means that the Swedish brand has fast-tracked facelifts for its already-attractive assemblage of sedans, wagons and crossovers. Volvo mainstays S60 and S80 have both gotten appearance modifications to freshen them for dealer lots, as well as added features inside the car. We're particularly happy to report that the spirited "60 cluster" models - S60, V60, XC60 - can now be had with optional paddle shifters on new, three-spoke steering wheels.

Volvo to add 1,300 jobs, ramp up production in Sweden

The expansion of the factory is part of an $11-billion investment Volvo's Chinese owners, Geely, are making.
Volvo Cars is adding 1,300 new jobs and ramping up production at its factory in Gothenburg, Sweden, in response to increased consumer demand for its vehicles.

Fri, 03 Oct 2014The most important new Volvo in quite some time has made its first auto show appearance, with the second-generation XC90 debuting at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
As we discussed in both our original post and Deep Dive feature, the new XC90 remains a three-row crossover for 2015, although it ditches the first-gen model's top-end, turbocharged six-cylinder in favor of a single twin-charged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. By pairing that with a plug-in-electric powertrain, the king of the XC90 range, the T8 TwinEngine, will offer up 400 horsepower. So yeah, performance should be brisk.
Also appearing on 2015 XC90 will be an entirely new, Apple CarPlay-compatible infotainment system with a big, vertical touchscreen display at its heart. Based on the videos we've seen, the new system looks responsive, feature-laden and quite attractive.
