Volvo Concept XC Coupe leaked [w/video] [UPDATE]

Last month, Volvo gave us a teaser of its new Concept XC Coupe, set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show. And now, just a few days before the doors open at Cobo Hall, leaked images of the stylish new crossover showcar have leaked online, courtesy of CarBuyer.co.uk.
The Concept XC Coupe is a sort of high-riding successor to the very attractive Concept Coupe that wowed us at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. With its burlier dimensions and hatchback configuration, the Concept XC gives us a better glimpse at Volvo's new styling direction, which is expected to debut in production form on the next-generation XC90 crossover. We've already seen some leaked sketches of the new XC90, and it sure does look like this Concept XC.
We don't have any further details about the Concept XC Coupe, but from the images, we can see that it will use a four-passenger seating configuration, with rear seats that fold flat. There are also exterior badges for surround radar and a 360-degree camera system, suggesting some new safety tech fitting of safety-minded brand.

The report cites fluctuating gasoline and diesel prices, and the relatively low prices of these alternative fuels, for their growing popularity. The report also breaks down the popularity of natural gas and propane vehicles in different parts up the world. In the Asia-Pacific region, China is the largest consumer. In Europe, CNG thrives in Italy, while LPG is most popular in Turkey and Poland. Meanwhile, CNG remains a tough sell in America, while South America has a healthy market. The Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are testing trucks connected to overhead electric wires to reduce emissions and improve air quality. The eHighway, as the project is called, will cost $13.5 million and will use battery electric and hybrid trucks to move cargo around the ports along a one-mile stretch of wires. Lyft is introducing its own carpooling feature to its car-hailing app. Yesterday, we reported that its competitor Uber is testing UberPool, and Lyft is now doing something similar to encourage people to share rides. Lyft Line offers discounted rides, and matches passengers who are going to nearby destinations around the same time. Lyft Line offers passengers a guaranteed price before they accept the ride. You know what we haven't posted in a long time? A very weird, car-related video. It's high time we address this failing.
As strange videos go, this one is truly bizarre. The two-minute clip focuses on the Volvo V60 R-Design, although you're not going to be learning anything about the car. Instead, you're going to be focused on the weird narrator (and the cat decals on the windows).
It's like someone taught the Swedish Chef to speak English, but with a ridiculous accent and a script that's been fed through Google Translate. The result is a weirdly cerebral voice speaking in a manner that borders on gibberish mixed with information about the car. We're particularly fond of, "In accordance with Volvo tradition... the car... is... of course... furnished, with an inside." "Floor bibs," in reference to the floor mats, was an office favorite, as well.
