One Owner - you won't find a car thats been taken better care of, i had plan to keep it for years to come but circumstanes changed and I need to sell - Work on local military base and drive it very easy through 40 mph street and then 35 MPH on base.I have driven it up to 60 MPH a coupld of times on the highway and it handles like a real sports car, but normally drive it easy. It stays parked in my garage at night. I purchased on Jan 27th 2012. No problems, runs good, drives great. I paid 39,000. I dont want to loose this much money but if you look at the bill of sale in pics ans the sticker price you can see what I paid for it. Has every feature available on the 2012 T5. Itss a great car and has a Transferable full maintenance includes all schelduled work for free for 3 more years from any Volvo dealer, inlcuding all oil changes, any parts, towing, emergency roadside assistance, and they give you a new Volvo to drive while they are changing your oil for free and then wash it when they are fisnished. Volvo has top notch service. If you know Volvo you know ifs a safe great car. I really love my Volvo and I like driving it, it was a dream car, but siuations change and job is being cut back due to Defense Spending so I will give someone else the opportunity to purchase at a good price. I have a Ford P/U F150 that I should be driving and i don't need two insurance payments and two tags to purchase each year. I just simply can't afford both vehicles at this time. But if times get better I would defineltly look at owning a Volvo again, I have never driven such a nice riding car. If you decide to buy it, you will need to pick up in Huntsville AL or I can drive it close to this area and meet you at bank or loan company and I need cash or cashier check and sign over title and Bill of Sale.. Will not sell any other way. title is clear, as I have saved for many years to buy this dream car. I am the only owner, purchased new with only 35 miles on it, Its been treated like a baby and never hot rodded as I had planned to keep it for years to come.. I will consider a good cash offer as I would like to sell and then one day when things are better I will buy another Volvo because this is the nicest best riding and driving car I have ever owned and as much as I hate to part with it, the time has come that I have to be realistic about my job and expenses.

Volvo S60 Polestar Concept finally spotted in the flesh
Wed, 28 Nov 2012The Volvo S60 Polestar Concept has graced the pages of Autoblog numerous times in recent memory, but we've never actually seen it in person. That is, until now.
We caught up with the blazing blue sedan sitting on the floor of the LA Auto Show, and it looks even better up close. As a refresher, the four-door is fitted with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (3.0-liter) generating an impressive 508 horsepower. Its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels through a fourth-generation Haldex XWD system. With a decent driver behind the steering wheel, the Polestar can crack the 60 mph benchmark in about 3.7 seconds as it rushes towards a top speed in excess of 186 mph.
Volvo has said that this Polestar-modified S60 was built for a specific client who paid upwards of $300,000 for the pleasure of owning it. But as they say, if there is market demand for more...
European new car sales drop nearly 8% in first half of 2019
Thu, Jul 18 2019PARIS — European car sales dropped 7.9% in June, led by bigger declines for Nissan, Volvo and Fiat Chrysler (FCA), according to industry data published on Wednesday. Registrations fell to 1.49 million cars last month from 1.62 million a year earlier across the European Union and EFTA countries, the Brussels-based Association of European Carmakers said in a statement. Calendar effects resulted in two fewer sales days in most markets, accentuating the decline. Registrations for the first half closed 3.1% lower, ACEA said. For European carmakers, weakening demand at home compounds the pressure from a sharper contraction in China and emerging markets that may yet bring more profit warnings. NissanÂ’s aging model lineup contributed to a 26.6% June sales slump while Volvo Cars, owned by ChinaÂ’s Geely, saw deliveries tumble 21.7%. Registrations also fell 13.5% last month at FCA, 10.1% at BMW, 9.6% at Volkswagen Group and 8.2% for both Mercedes parent Daimler and FranceÂ’s PSA Group. The Peugeot makerÂ’s domestic rival Renault suffered less, posting a 3.9% decline. By the Numbers BMW Chrysler Fiat Nissan Volkswagen Volvo Peugeot Renault
Lincoln Aviator vs Cadillac XT6 | How they compare on paper
Thu, Sep 5 2019There have been big, three-row family crossovers for quite a while now, but until recently the luxury market hasn't fully embraced them. Sure, you could literally get one with a third row, but unless you were a kid, chances are the term "dungeon-like" was going to be tossed around. Things are changing now, however, as new and redesigned entries are starting to hit the market. We've recently had a chance to get our first drives of the 2020 Lincoln Aviator and 2020 Cadillac XT6, two all-new three-row crossovers from American luxury brands. We also got a turn behind the wheel of the updated 2020 Volvo XC90. However, since none of our editors have yet to drive to drive them all, we wanted to see how they compare on paper, examining their engine specs and interior dimensions. We also included the 2020 Acura MDX, the original three-row luxury crossover, which continues to sell well despite approaching the end of its current generation. That it offers a hybrid model makes it that much more applicable given the Aviator and XC90 also offer gasoline-electric powertrains, albeit of the plug-in variety. 3 Row Luxury Crossovers Powertrains View 1 Photos Non-hybrid MDX has a 5,000-pound max tow rating. How do their performance and fuel economy compare? This one is absolutely no contest. The 400-horsepower Lincoln blows away its competitors despite having a price tag that's similar to the 310-horsepower Cadillac and in between the XC90's T5 and T6 models. At least the Acura is considerably cheaper. Besides the eye-popping output, the estimated 0-60-mph time of 5.5 seconds (gleaned from the mechanically similar Ford Explorer ST) is appreciably quicker than the others. Now, fuel economy is a bit lower, but the efficiency of Volvo's four-cylinder engines are likely more susceptible to varying due to driver differences. It should also be noted that the Cadillac gets the same combined fuel economy estimate as the Aviator despite having 90 fewer horses and 144 fewer pound-feet of torque. Just one of the ways where the XT6's prospects dim in the presence of its cross-Michigan rival. The Cadillac is also not available as a hybrid model. The others are, but are disparate. The Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring and Volvo XC90 T8 are similar in concept: range-topping models that are as much about adding performance as they are fuel economy. Their hefty price tags certainly reflect that as well.
