2005 Volvo V70 2.4

We are pleased to present this incredibly nice Volvo V70 2.4 which is fitted with some fairly desirable options. First of all, 2005 is the first year for the facelift of these cars which gives them new more modern front and rear bumpers, different tail lights, headlights, and a completely redesigned center console and center stack. This V70 also has the Premium Package, Volvo Bluetooth Handsfree System, and iPod connectivity to the audio system. These regular V70s are incredibly rare, especially in the later years like this one. This is also one of the final years that these cars were available with the ultra-reliable non-turbocharged engine. This is one of those cars that will run forever and ever -- just keep putting gas in it, and it'll get you where you need to go. Speaking of gas, unlike its turbcharged sisters, it only requires regular fuel rather than premium. We just acquired this Volvo directly from a local Volvo dealership with whom we have a relationship and the ability to purchase their trade-ins. This car was just traded in by its senior female owner on a new XC60. She purchased this V70 Certified Pre-Owned from the same dealership with just 22k miles on it.

The interior of this V70 is in very, very good condition. It has arena (tan) leather heated seats with beautiful real walnut accents on the dash, console and door panels. The car has the "high performance sound" Alpine audio system upgrade which sounds excellent. It also has a power moonroof. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. These cars don't even come with cigarette lighters, just power outlets. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages which is behind a very nice real wood sliding cover. The center console also features much more wood than the previous models, and it gives the car a much more upscale feel. This Volvo has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags, and curtain airbags for the front and rear seats. It's got the WHIPS whiplash protection system as well which prevents whiplash in the event of a rear-end collission. It also features rain sensitive windshield wipers, along with heated mirrors, rain-repellant side glass and high-pressure headlight washer jets, which are part of the climate package.

The exterior of this V70 is in remarkably good condition, and Metallic Silver in color. The exterior of the car is actually in very nice condition, and there aren't any major flaws to note except for some scrapes on the right rear quarter panel. I tried to show them in the pics, but they have been touched up so it was difficult to get them to show up. The 15 inch alloy wheels are in good condition. Overall, this is a great looking V70.

The tires are all matching Michelin tires which are nearly new. They have better than 90% tread remaining. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 2.4 Liternon-turbo 5 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission is also excellent.Three keys are included (Two remote switchblade keys, and one valet key), along with the owners manual set. There is also the window sticker from when the car was sold as Certified Pre Owned. This car was serviced exceptionally well by its previous owner who was a senior female.

These are your top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012

Despite 2012 being the best year of auto sales this country has seen since 2007, not every vehicle got an equally large share of the sales pie. Some barely got a sliver, as evidenced by this year's list of the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. We've dug through sales data from every automaker to come up with this year's list and, like last year, we've set some parameters to ensure it includes legitimately bad-selling vehicles. The first parameter is a starting MSRP under $100,000, which automatically excludes what's parked in most one-percenters' garages. We're also excluding vehicles cancelled in 2012, even if they garnered sales through the end of the year while dealerships sold off remaining inventory. This includes models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and last year's worst-seller, the Acura RL. Next, vehicles are considered as they are reported by the automaker, which means that, while sales of the Murano CrossCabriolet were probably low enough to make the list, because Nissan reports only one number for all Murano sales, it was excluded. Cadillac, however, reports sales of the Escalade EXT separately from the Escalade, hence its repeat appearance. Finally, there was the question of whether or not eligibility should be given to Suzuki vehicles, as the brand announced in November that it would end sales in the US as soon as its current inventory ran out. We decided Suzuki vehicles should be included as the brand was offering 2013 models at the time of the announcement, and as far as we can tell, inventory levels remained high enough to satisfy demand through the end of the year. This past week played host to a wide assortment of automotive news, highlighted by our first drive of the 2018 Volvo XC40. The Swedish crossover is targeted at young, successful Millennials, but it offers cool styling, fun dynamics, and all of today's must-have technology, so we think it ought to appeal to a much wider swath of the automotive marketplace. From there we answer the question, "What are hard on the outside and soft on the inside?" as we take a look at the next Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. We expect the German automaker's flagship luxury SUV to remain boxy on the outside, but the interior is going to be soft, supple, and luxurious. And then there's the Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid, which starts at starts at $34,290 and boasts 212 total system horsepower, 232 pound-feet of torque, 47 miles of electric driving range, and a total range of 340 miles. EPA rates it at 110 MPGe in EV mode, and 44 city/40 highway/42 combined overall. We compare it to other plug-ins like the Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius Prime. And finally we have some more spy photos of the 2019 Ram 1500. It doesn't have a traditional crosshair grille, but it's got plenty of chrome and an attractive upright stance that's sure to tempt future truck buyers looking for some sophistication to go with their work gloves. Apple announces CarPlay in-car iPhone interface

Apple, maker of tech items like the iPhone, iPad and Mac line of computers, is extending its reach into the automotive market, making a fairly big announcement ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. No, it hasn't bought Tesla (yet). Instead, Apple has announced CarPlay, an all-new means of controlling an iPhone through your car.
Now, this doesn't strike us as some gimmicky thing. It's become increasingly common for automakers to take advantage of the high-speed data streams its customers enjoy on their smartphones in order to integrate navigation, traffic, audio and other infotainment items into a car's touchscreen interface. The Chevrolet Spark and Sonic are two prime examples of this move, using an iPhone's data stream for Siri integration and data for a third-party navigation app.
Owners will be able to plug in their iPhones to their cars via the USB port and gain control of a number of the device's functions, all through a car's touchscreen.
