Up for auction is my 2007 Volvo V70R Sport Wagon. Chances are if you are looking at a V70R you have done your research and know what you are considering purchasing. This is an amazing vehicle! Speed and handeling are second to none. My wife and I purchased this vehicle new in 2007 and now have three (3) children in car seats and needed to upgrade (downgrade) to something much larger (Suburban). This car was driven well, usually with children in the car - not abused. My wife would like me to store this car for a few years so she can use it again. Only Super-Premium (91 Octane) fuel used, regular oil changes, ect. I will also include a set of winter/all season tires with 60% tread. The tires that are on the car are Perelli P-Zero Rosso's, 2 were purchased in July of last year, 2 have 50% tread left. Please see photos for all specifics on this car. Included in photos is the window sticker which shows all the options on this car (including Premium Package). I do have both R keys (only 1 shown i photo). Email with questions.

Translogic 189: 2015 LA Auto Show
Tue, Nov 24 2015The LA Auto Show has become known for its green cars and concepts, and 2015 was no exception. Translogic host Jonathon Buckley gets all the details on BMW's 330e plug-in hybrid straight from BMW President of North America Ludwig Willisch. Then we get up-to-date on Honda's latest FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car. We round out our tour with a stop at the Elio Motors booth for a look at their updated, three-wheel P5 concept and a chat with CEO Paul Elio. But first, we jump in a time machine at the Volvo booth to discuss Concept 26, an interpretation of how car interiors might evolve in the era of self-driving cars. "The reason why we talked about it as a time machine [is] because, really, Concept 26 is giving you back something that is so precious," explained Volvo senior director of design Tisha Johnson. Tina Fey sits down with Seinfeld for new CiCGC
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Recently Jerry Seinfeld went out for a videotaped cup of coffee with Jay Leno in a vintage Gmund Porsche. Switching coasts and cars, this time New York's own son returns to his city for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey for the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem, then back downtown to a pastry shop. On the way, Jerry calls out a photo shoot for using a fake Porsche, and Fey admits she doesn't have a driver's license. Driving cars, she says, "is like Twitter to me." Which she also doesn't do - she lasted seven tweets in 2009.

See Volvo's integration of Apple CarPlay in action
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Apple unveiled its new CarPlay touchscreen infotainment system earlier today, and Volvo has just released a video showing the system in action. The Cupertino tech giant is expected to announce partnerships with Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz to license CarPlay, as well, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and will be working with even more manufacturers in the future.
The system pairs the driver's iPhone with the car's infotainment system and seamlessly allows them use the smart phone's functions and, at least in Volvo's demonstration, the car's climate control and seat heating systems. According to the video, the new system will be available "in the coming generation Volvo cars," which likely means the upcoming, next-generation Volvo XC90.
However, the system will not work universally. Apple will add functionality through an update to iOS 7 in the future for the iPhone 5, 5C and 5S. At launch other devices won't be supported. Scroll down to watch CarPlay work. We are expecting more details to emerge on the new infotainment system when the Swiss show opens tomorrow.
