2007 Volvo V70 2.5T Turbo Wagon Silver Exterior Tan Interior No Reserve Auction - You Bid - You Bought it
This is my wife's 2007 Volvo V70 Turbo Wagon. As you can tell from the license plate, she is a Real Estate Agent. Most of the miles on this car are Highway Miles. She drives this car all over Virginia almost every single day. She puts about 22K Miles a year on her cars. We got this car from my Mother 3 years ago with about 50K on it, so this car has been in our family since it was bought new in 2007. We also have two kids, so there is plenty of room for your family. Know Issues
Overall the car is in pretty good shape. The paint still shines, there are no significant scratches or dents. The interior is in good shape, Leather is all intact and has no rips or tears. All the gauges function. The car starts and runs fine and is still driven everyday. Mechanically it is pretty much what you would expect from a car with 117K on it and is 8 years old. The interior and exterior are in better than average condition. My wife still takes her clients in the car, so you know it is in pretty good shape inside and out. Volvo specs new 450-hp triple-charged four-cylinder engine
Tue, 07 Oct 2014When Volvo lifted the veil on the new XC90 a little over a month ago, it announced that all versions would be powered by one engine design: a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder to be offered in various states of tune. That would range, Volvo said, all the way up to a high-output version with "around 400 horsepower," but while it wouldn't specify exact output, now it has.
The new High Performance Drive-E Powertrain incorporates two parallel turbochargers fed by a third electric turbo-compressor. Instead of feeding the cylinders directly, that third unit spools up the twin turbochargers, working together with a dual fuel pump pressurized to 250 bar.
The result is an output of 450 horsepower - far more than the existing 320-hp version and even more than expected. That also works out to 225 hp/liter, far more than the 177 hp/liter boasted by Mercedes-AMG's high-output turbo four and the 139 hp/liter in the Alfa Romeo 4C. Short of a rotary engine (whose actual displacement is the subject of great debate), you'd have to go up to something like the Koenigsegg One:1 (268 hp/liter) to find a higher specific output than what Volvo's boasting here.

Wed, 03 Sep 2014The new Volvo XC90 breaks new ground in any number of ways. It's based on a new modular platform, packs new engines, introduces a new design language and incorporates a whole slew of new safety systems. Even in its sales approach, it takes Volvo into new territory.
In what Volvo calls an industry first, the first 1,927 examples of the new XC90 will be sold online. Those First Edition models, whose production numbers honor the year of the company's founding, will come fully equipped in T6 AWD guise with the twin-charged (but not hybrid) 316-horsepower engine, air suspension, Bowers & Wilkins audio system and 21-inch Inscription alloys, decked out in black with a tan Nappa leather interior, all for $65,900.
