2004 Volvo V70 T5 wagon. If you are reading this ad, you most likely know what this car is about. This is a 257HP turbocharged, 5 cylinder people mover. Car was close to $43k new. Car has 85k easy Eastern Long Island miles, Automatic transmission, Moonroof, Driver and passenger heated power leather seats, remote start, built in dual child booster seats, etc. Every available option for this year with the exception of Navi. Runs and drives 110%. Great on gas. Ice cold AC and Heat works great as well. Car is maintained very well mechanically, on the interior and exterior as well. The car is exceptionally clean with the omission of very minor parking lot scrapes and dings (not evident in the photos). Clean title with no history or liens. Clean interior. Driver seat has a small area where the stitching is starting to come undone on the seat part (very minor fix). Car is priced $2500 less than the "Good" value according to KBB, Edmunds and other market data companies. This is a geat deal for the mileage. Look around and see what others are selling for. The car was originally sold in Eastern Suffolk County (Southampton), My family purchased it in 2006 off lease with 30k miles.
I have fixed all of the common issues with these cars already. 4 window regulator sliding blocks on two of the windows, replaced 2 coil pacs (ignition wires), timing belt is recommended at 120,000 miles as per Volvo for 2004 model year cars.

2014 Volvo XC60 scooped before launch
Fri, 28 Dec 2012A Chinese automotive site has snagged the first spy shots of the updated Volvo XC60, completely uncovered. While the overall profile of the vehicle remains intact, the headlights are heavily revised. Gone are the two-piece units, which featured the separate light strip between the main cluster and the grille. In place now are larger lenses, somewhat reminiscent of those found on the S60 sedan. Also updated is the grille, which gets a little wider to meet the new headlights. The grille receives more chrome, while the lower front fascia has been revised with wider openings. A pair of LED fog lights are pushed way out to the corners.
Out back, the license plate holder gets a bold chrome strip above it, and the recessed exhaust is replaced with chromed, dual exhaust outlets that have been integrated into the bottom of the rear bumper.
Inside, the instrument panel has been revised, with a large, centrally mounted speedo, featuring a digital display in the center. According to reports, this is a similar setup to that of the new V40. As such, it appears that the changes are thoughtful efforts to move the XC60 forward by incorporating the most current Volvo design elements.
Uber hopes facilities in Detroit will help shape its autonomous future
Mon, Sep 19 2016Hot off the heels of unleashing its fleet of self-driving vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA, Uber announced plans to open a new facility in the Detroit, MI area, reports Automotive News. The new facility was announced at an event hosted by Society of Automotive Engineers in Detroit, MI. Uber's vice president of global vehicle programs Sherif Marakby revealed the news, reports Automotive News. The facility is meant to help the ride-sharing company collaborate with suppliers and automakers in the area. There's no word on where Uber will build the new facility or how big it will be, as those factors have yet to be determined. Just like Pittsburgh, PA, Detroit, MI could become another testing ground for the ride-sharing company. The latest move to open a facility in the Detroit area comes after Uber offered users in Pittsburgh the chance to ride in one of its autonomous vehicle as it looks to gain vital real-world testing. Uber is utilizing a fleet of modified Ford Fusions. Earlier this year in April, the automaker announced a partnership with Google, Lyft, Uber, and Volvo to develop autonomous cars. A new facility in Detroit would strengthen the partnership and help Uber, as well as Ford put autonomous vehicles on the road faster.
