I am going to make this short and sweet; I really do not need to say much regarding this Volvo... just see photos>!! bright and clean. great paint and body. above average interior, near mint shape. newer Michelin tires. great, and I mean great, engine and tranny, smooth and quiet operation. drives like a near>newer>car. just a pleasure. everything works well. new timing belt, battery, belts, oil, filter and fluids. runs great. clean and comfy interior, drives great, smooth and quiet, nice. looks like a million, buy cheap. eBay price... non smoker, leather and moon roof. factory correct alloy wheels, remote, 2 cut keys, ABS, airbags, full power, leather, 4 wheel disc brakes, FWD, stereo, windows, locks, cruise and tilt, full gauges, odometer, heat, a/c and more. weatherproof floor mats. no warning lights on. clean, safe and reliable. but... there is a small ding one side, left headlight has a light crack, small crack in front grille area... all very hard to photo. I have bought and sold over 100 cars on eBay, and I am happy to continue. most of these cars for sale are new car dealer trades and or on consignment. as such, I am trying to avoid and keep down the number of re-lists, or not completed sales by high bidders. please do not bid or buy if you are short on cash, have many un-asked question or can't make arrangements with me regarding prompt payment and pick up. We know it makes no sense, but that pretty much sums up our take on the video you'll see below, in which a man by the name of Christoffer Castor, from Scania County in Southern Sweden, attempts to convince any and all who watch to buy his car. The car in question is a 1993 Volvo 240 wagon, in red with a black fabric interior.
We have quite a bit of respect for the old boxy Volvo wagons here at Autoblog, and, despite the presence of some unsightly rust on the tailgate, would gladly bum about in this particular 240. We especially appreciate the five-speed manual gearbox and that it's from the car's final year in production.
Volvo fires up S60 and V60 Polestar production
Mon, 30 Jun 2014We were pretty smitten with the Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar models during our First Drive in Sweden a few months ago. We especially loved the way that its Öhlins adjustable dampers offered a perfect balance between suppleness and sporty handling. Now, the rest of the world will finally be getting the chance to take the Polestar models for a spin because Volvo is shipping out the first units of the limited-edition vehicles.
Their completion marks the first time ever that Polestar-tuned models have come off the line at Volvo's Torslanda factory. However, production of the 350-horsepower hatchback and sedan is very limited. Volvo is building a total of just 750 of them for the world market, and the US is only getting 80 wagons and 40 sedans.
In addition to the cutting-edge dampers and more powerful engine, both Polestar models benefit from a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system routed through a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and launch control. Six-piston Brembo calipers bring things to a halt, and the limited models get unique front and rear fascias and 20-inch wheels. These are two very hot Swedes, and if rumors are right, then there are even more tuned Volvos from Polestar on the way. Scroll down to read the full announcement.
