****Please understand before bidding on this vehicle that the title has been checked in the box on the back of the title that says "I hereby certify that the odometer reading is not actual mileage.Warning Odometer Discrepancy."by the previous owner by mistake. And in Ct the title now will be TMU which means true mileage unknown when registered by the next owner. To some this is a deal breaker so this is why i am selling the vehicle "as is" and for parts.Duplicate Title cannot be obtained.
You are looking at a 2002 Volvo S80 T6.2.9l turbo.Pearl white exterior of the car is in really nice shape with only a few small dings.Minor paint chipping on the bottom of the front bumper as shown in picture.Tan leather interior is in nice shape also with no tears in the leather. Motor overheated and blew the head gasket. The motor now sounds like it has no compression.Other known problems with the car are; pass. side door lock weak and is making clicking sound which drains the battery, hood latch cable is broken but still can open hood, also seems like it has faulty ignition switch due to dash cluster not always lighting up,(this is the reason the previous owner marked that box and also the battery was dead so unable to read mileage)and also slight bend in rim as shown in picture. The tires are basically brand new put on right before the head gasket went.New radiator also just installed before overheating. CT title and bill of sale in hand but again the vehicle is being sold as is.$100 deposit due within 24 hours of auction close via paypal. Vehicle also needs to be picked up within 7 days of auctions close and buyer is responsible for transport. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding.

Polestar says goodbye to Volvo C30 in video tribute
Tue, 12 Mar 2013The Volvo C30 was put to its eternal bed a few months ago, but the tuners at Polestar have a little more eulogizing to do. The Swedish house of speed that has raced and reworked the little hatch since its introduction in 2006 wants the world to know what they've been through together, so it has encapsulated seven years of around-the-world action into three minutes and 28 seconds of track footage and champagne.
We're still waiting on word of a replacement for the funny little hatch, and while we lament what could have been, the video below proves that the C30 provided plenty of thrills for those outside of the US. And as you can read in our recent review of the Polestar-enhanced road-going C30, it provided a decent amount of fun for those of us in the States, as well.

The next-generation wearable will be your car
Fri, Jan 8 2016This year's CES has had a heavy emphasis on the class of device known as the "wearable" – think about the Apple Watch, or Fitbit, if that's helpful. These devices usually piggyback off of a smartphone's hardware or some other data connection and utilize various onboard sensors and feedback devices to interact with the wearer. In the case of the Fitbit, it's health tracking through sensors that monitor your pulse and movement; for the Apple Watch and similar devices, it's all that and some more. Manufacturers seem to be developing a consensus that vehicles should be taking on some of a wearable's functionality. As evidenced by Volvo's newly announced tie-up with the Microsoft Band 2 fitness tracking wearable, car manufacturers are starting to explore how wearable devices will help drivers. The On Call app brings voice commands, spoken into the Band 2, into the mix. It'll allow you to pass an address from your smartphone's agenda right to your Volvo's nav system, or to preheat your car. Eventually, Volvo would like your car to learn things about your routines, and communicate back to you – or even, improvise to help you wake up earlier to avoid that traffic that might make you late. Do you need to buy a device, like the $249 Band 2, and always wear it to have these sorts of interactions with your car? Despite the emphasis on wearables, CES 2016 has also given us a glimmer of a vehicle future that cuts out the wearable middleman entirely. Take Audi's new Fit Driver project. The goal is to reduce driver stress levels, prevent driver fatigue, and provide a relaxing interior environment by adjusting cabin elements like seat massage, climate control, and even the interior lighting. While it focuses on a wearable device to monitor heart rate and skin temperature, the Audi itself will use on-board sensors to examine driving style and breathing rate as well as external conditions – the weather, traffic, that sort of thing. Could the seats measure skin temperature? Could the seatbelt measure heart rate? Seems like Audi might not need the wearable at all – the car's already doing most of the work. Whether there's a device on a driver's wrist or not, manufacturers seem to be developing a consensus that vehicles should be taking on some of a wearable's functionality.
