| We are pleased to present this incredibly nice Volvo S60 2.5t (Low Pressure Turbocharged). The 2.5t is the most popular trim level in the S60, and it gives you the power of a turbocharged 5 Cylinder engine, while still getting excellent fuel economy. You also avoid the complexity of the all wheel drive system. Given that the car still has traction control and stability control, the all wheel drive will hardly be missed. On top of that, you get quite a few luxury and safety features. You get all of this performance wrapped up in an ultra safe, ultra reliable Volvo. In fact, Rachael, our sales manager, drives a nearly identical car with about 250,000 miles on it. Her car has been trouble-free for the entire duration of her ownership. These cars rarely have mechanical problems. This S60 is finished in Titanium Gray Pearl, which was a new color for the 2004 model year. You don't see a whole lot of S60s finished in this color, and it's definitely one of my favorites! The interior of this S60 is in very, very good condition for its mileage. It has off-black leather heated seats with real walnut wood accents on the dash, console, and doors. The wooden roll-top door over the cup holders is an especially nice touch, with its aluminum handle. It gives the car a very unique interior look. The car has the "high performance sound" Alpine audio system upgrade which sounds excellent. It also has a power moonroof. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. These cars don't even come with cigarette lighters, just power outlets. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages. This Volvo has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags, and curtain airbags for the front and rear seats. It also features Volvo's WHIPS Whiplash protection system. It also has rain sensitive windshield wipers, along with heated mirrors, and bixenon headlamps with high-pressure wash function. The exterior of this S60 is in remarkably good condition for the year and miles, and Titanium Gray Pearl in color as I mentioned before. This is one of the most desirable colors on S60s, and really makes the car stand out. The exterior of the car is actually in very nice condition, and there aren't any major flaws to note. The car has no accident history at all. The 16 inch alloy wheels are in good condition. The car has had only two owners since it was new, and both owners seem to have serviced the car exceptionally well. You'll notice that there is some paint peeling from the lower spoiler on the bottom of the bumper. This is likely front impacts with curbs or parking barriers over its life. We can repair this for the buyer if it's of particular concern. The tires have good tread remaining. They are matching Continentals. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 2.5 Liter low pressure turbocharged 5 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission is also excellent. It's very smooth, while still handling well. The owners manual set is present. As was mentioned above, these cars rarely have mechanical issues, and this is definitely a car that you could purcahse with the intention of putting hundreds of thousands of miles on the odometer. Editor's Note: Since this article was originally posted in the spring of 2015, much has changed in the automotive landscape, especially among those shopping for small car economy. With thanks to Volkswagen for their blatant cheating – and subsequent cover-up – on diesel emissions, the largest player in the diesel passenger car segment isn't playing – they're paying; billions are going for both car buybacks and federally-imposed penalties. And for a few VW execs there exists the very real possibility of jail. With the absence of a big player and the abrupt entrance – via Chevy's new Bolt – of an affordable EV with 200+ miles of range, we've limited the diesel listings to Jaguar's new XE. And for those wanting an updated look at efficiency and range, Autoblog has it – or the EPA has it. Long before electric vehicles were part of the mainstream conversation, car lovers and skinflints alike would boast about the total range of their vehicles. There's something about getting farther down the road on one tank of gas that inflames the competitive spirit, almost as much as horsepower output or top speed. Of course, the vehicles with the very best range on today's market are almost all big trucks and SUVs; virtually all have the ability to carry massive reserves of fuel. Top up a standard Chevy Suburban and you can expect to travel almost 700 miles (you'll need to stop before the Suburban stops...), while a diesel-fed Jeep Grand Cherokee manages almost as many. But what about vehicles that are smaller? The EPA has, essentially, three classifications for 'small' vehicles: Minicompact, Subcompact and Compact. All three are measured based on interior volume, meaning that some cars with rather large exterior dimensions and engines slot in next to traditional small cars. But even though impressive GT coupes from Porsche, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz may have much larger gas tanks to feed their powerful engines, that capacity is offset by higher rates of consumption... in most cases. We used the EPA's Fuel Economy Guide for model year 2017 cars as a start, calculating the official highway miles per gallon rating with each vehicle's tank capacity. The resulting numbers aren't necessarily real world, but they do offer a spectrum for total theoretical range. The eventual top ten surprised me on a few occasions, and comprised quite a varied list of vehicles. 10.

Despite 2012 being the best year of auto sales this country has seen since 2007, not every vehicle got an equally large share of the sales pie. Some barely got a sliver, as evidenced by this year's list of the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. We've dug through sales data from every automaker to come up with this year's list and, like last year, we've set some parameters to ensure it includes legitimately bad-selling vehicles. The first parameter is a starting MSRP under $100,000, which automatically excludes what's parked in most one-percenters' garages. We're also excluding vehicles cancelled in 2012, even if they garnered sales through the end of the year while dealerships sold off remaining inventory. This includes models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and last year's worst-seller, the Acura RL. Next, vehicles are considered as they are reported by the automaker, which means that, while sales of the Murano CrossCabriolet were probably low enough to make the list, because Nissan reports only one number for all Murano sales, it was excluded. Cadillac, however, reports sales of the Escalade EXT separately from the Escalade, hence its repeat appearance. Finally, there was the question of whether or not eligibility should be given to Suzuki vehicles, as the brand announced in November that it would end sales in the US as soon as its current inventory ran out. We decided Suzuki vehicles should be included as the brand was offering 2013 models at the time of the announcement, and as far as we can tell, inventory levels remained high enough to satisfy demand through the end of the year. Recently Jerry Seinfeld went out for a videotaped cup of coffee with Jay Leno in a vintage Gmund Porsche. Switching coasts and cars, this time New York's own son returns to his city for a jaunt in a 1967 Volvo 1800S with fellow New Yorker Tina Fey for the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
The trip takes them uptown to Cuban coffee shop Floridita in Harlem, then back downtown to a pastry shop. On the way, Jerry calls out a photo shoot for using a fake Porsche, and Fey admits she doesn't have a driver's license. Driving cars, she says, "is like Twitter to me." Which she also doesn't do - she lasted seven tweets in 2009.
