MECHANIC'S SPECIAL - NEEDS SOME FRONT SUSPENSION WORK / TRANSMISSION WORK - LIGHT HAIL DAMAGE

Here's a great opportunity to get a quality one owner Volvo for much less than you ever thought possible!  This car is a mechanic's special.  The transmission slips when the car gets warm.  In addition the car needs some front suspension work with some normal wear items needing replacement.  If you look closely the car does have some light hail as well.  The car does run and drive just fine though!   If you are familiar with Volvos and their systems, then this is a great opportunity for you!  This car is a ONE OWNER Texas car! We checked all over the car and found no signs at all of rust on this car nor did we find any indication that the car would develop rust in the future.  The car's mileage is quite low for a 2002 model with 163,296 miles on it.

The car is loaded with options including the power moon-roof, premium alloy wheels, premium sound system, leather seats, cruise control, side airbags, tiptronic and more. The car has the premium Volvo wheels.  They really do make the car stand out and show how classy this car is.  This car comes in a highly desired color combination.  The Metallic Silver exterior with Gray leather still looks good.  The power windows, locks, three position memory seat, power moon-roof, and power mirrors still work great.  The automatic dual zone computer controlled a/c is very cold and the heater is just as hot!  The premium stereo works well and sounds outstanding!  Also included the car's owners manual and original books!

If the looks of this wonderful car didn't already impress you, then getting behind the wheel will take your breath away!  Keeping you on the road is a very good set of matching tires.  You won't have to worry about tires for quite some time with this car! The engine, while very comfortable and smooth does have all the power that you need.  Acceleration is very smooth thanks to all the torque that the engine provides.  You really feel in control of the car when its accelerating!  The car's 2.3 liter 5 Cylinder Turbocharged engine is very fast and has more than enough power to handle anything that would ever face it!  The car will hold the speed beautifully thanks to the cruise control which works great.  As far as safety goes, with driver's and passenger's front and side airbags you're protected from any misfortune that you may find on the road.  Don't miss your chance to own a great example of a well cared for Volvo.

Don't miss your chance to own a great example of a well cared for, hard to find Volvo S60 T5 Sedan.  If you know about these cars, then you know what a true bargain these cars really are.  They provide the same safety, security, power, and passenger room as any of the other big auto makers luxury sedans with some very distinctive good looks that only a Volvo could provide.  Don't let another buyer with a couple of quick clicks of the mouse take your dream car away from you!  This car is worth every penny!  Don't miss your opportunity to own this beautiful car!  You will not be disappointed!

If you have any questions about the car don't hesitate to call 210-570-6194.

Just to give you an idea of what this car is capable of, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the highest car mileage belongs to a 1966 Volvo P-1800S which as of July 2010 has clocked 2,800,000 miles.  It's still driven on a daily basis clocking over 100,000 miles a year!  We're not saying that you're going to chase this record, but it's a proven fact that the longevity title belongs to a Volvo.  Should you purchase this car you'll become part of a proud automotive family where 163,000 miles is considered to be the breaking in period!

This is an engine that you would be proud to call your own! With 247 turbocharged horsepower, you'll have all the power you need at your disposal!

These are your top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012

Mon, Jan 7 2013

Despite 2012 being the best year of auto sales this country has seen since 2007, not every vehicle got an equally large share of the sales pie. Some barely got a sliver, as evidenced by this year's list of the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. We've dug through sales data from every automaker to come up with this year's list and, like last year, we've set some parameters to ensure it includes legitimately bad-selling vehicles. The first parameter is a starting MSRP under $100,000, which automatically excludes what's parked in most one-percenters' garages. We're also excluding vehicles cancelled in 2012, even if they garnered sales through the end of the year while dealerships sold off remaining inventory. This includes models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and last year's worst-seller, the Acura RL. Next, vehicles are considered as they are reported by the automaker, which means that, while sales of the Murano CrossCabriolet were probably low enough to make the list, because Nissan reports only one number for all Murano sales, it was excluded. Cadillac, however, reports sales of the Escalade EXT separately from the Escalade, hence its repeat appearance. Finally, there was the question of whether or not eligibility should be given to Suzuki vehicles, as the brand announced in November that it would end sales in the US as soon as its current inventory ran out. We decided Suzuki vehicles should be included as the brand was offering 2013 models at the time of the announcement, and as far as we can tell, inventory levels remained high enough to satisfy demand through the end of the year. Without further ado, below are the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles of 2012 10. Volvo C30 MSRP: $25,500 Units Sold: 2,827 Last Year: – 9. BMW Z4 MSRP: $47,350 Units Sold: 2,751 Last Year: – 8. Audi TT MSRP: $39,545 Units Sold: 2,226 Last Year: – 7. Subaru Tribeca MSRP: $32,595 Units Sold: 2,075 Last Year: 10 6. 2016 Chevy Colorado grabs Motor Trend Truck of the Year award

Tue, Nov 17 2015

It's not an easy feat to win Motor Trend Truck of the Year twice in a row, but the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado managed to do just that. Thanks to the introduction of the 2.8-liter Duramax four-cylinder diesel, the magazine decided to bring the pickup back to defend the title. In more good news for the Bowtie brand, the 2016 Camaro earned the magazine's Car of the Year award. The Colorado beat a tough group of finalists to earn the nod this year, including its GMC Canyon sibling. The Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra also made this year's list. The Nissan Titan XD and latest Toyota Tacoma rounded out the challengers. A model had to shine in six criteria to earn the title: advancement in design, engineering excellence, safety, efficiency, value, and performance of intended function. Like it did with the Camaro, Motor Trend posted a story online that explained the rationale for picking the Colorado again. They praised the diesel profusely and lauded the whole platform as quite a capable hauler. This year's Motor Trend SUV of the Year honor went to the Volvo XC90. The Swedish 'ute had to win against an initial group of 16 candidates that the magazine eventually whittled down to finalists that consisted of the Honda Pilot, Lincoln MKX, the combined Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class and GLE Coupe, and Nissan Murano. "Seven-passenger people movers aren't supposed to drive like this," senior features editor Jonny Lieberman said about the Volvo in the announcement of the champions. The Honda CR-V won last year. In the explanation online, the judges applauded the XC90's new modular platform, and they loved both the T6 twin-charged engine and T8 hybrid version. The SUV's key enamored the writers, too. Recharge Wrap-up: Formula E car swap video, Lyft adds carpooling, new Tesla book

Fri, Aug 8 2014

Curious to see how the Formula E car swap goes down? During each hour-long race (or ePrix, as the series calls them), drivers have to make a pit stop to switch cars as the battery runs down. Of course, they want to do it as quickly as possible. It's kind of a tricky dance extricating oneself from the cockpit of one car and slipping into the seat of another facing the opposite direction. See the maneuver in the video below and read more at Jalopnik. A new report forecasts that the CNG and LPG vehicle market will be worth nearly $5.2 billion by 2019. The report cites fluctuating gasoline and diesel prices, and the relatively low prices of these alternative fuels, for their growing popularity. The report also breaks down the popularity of natural gas and propane vehicles in different parts up the world. In the Asia-Pacific region, China is the largest consumer. In Europe, CNG thrives in Italy, while LPG is most popular in Turkey and Poland. Meanwhile, CNG remains a tough sell in America, while South America has a healthy market. Learn more in the press release below or at Markets and Markets. The Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are testing trucks connected to overhead electric wires to reduce emissions and improve air quality. The eHighway, as the project is called, will cost $13.5 million and will use battery electric and hybrid trucks to move cargo around the ports along a one-mile stretch of wires. The trucks, made by Siemens and Volvo, also have the ability to disconnect from the wires and drive under their own power. See more in the video below or read more at ABC7. Lyft is introducing its own carpooling feature to its car-hailing app. Yesterday, we reported that its competitor Uber is testing UberPool, and Lyft is now doing something similar to encourage people to share rides. Lyft Line offers discounted rides, and matches passengers who are going to nearby destinations around the same time. Lyft Line offers passengers a guaranteed price before they accept the ride. Lyft is launching the carpooling service in San Francisco, and hopes to expand it from there. Read the in-depth article at The New York Times. A new book is available called Tesla Motors: How Elon Musk and Company Made Electric Cars Cool, and Sparked the Next Tech Revolution. Written by Charles Morris, senior editor of Charged, it chronicles the history of the famed electric automaker, its achievements in business and technology and the people responsible for Tesla's success.
