2004 Volvo C70 LT Convertible

We are pleased to present this very nice Volvo C70 LT. LT stands for "low pressure turbo" which translates to a fast, yet economical and reliable car. Because it is turbocharged, it also allows to excellent efficiency and tremendous gas mileage. It's the best of all worlds. The car also features STC which stands for "Stability and Traction Control." This helps keep all of that power in check and helps to maintain control of the car in slippery situations, like in rain or on snow or ice. This makes this a true year-round convertible. The C70 was introduced by Volvo in 1998, and was facelifted and perfected over the years. The final year was this, the 2004. By 2004, Volvo had really gotten the manufacturing and engineering figured out on these cars, and they are truly bulletproof, refined, and simply stunning. What truly makes this particular C70 special is its incredible color and trim combination. It is Sky Blue Pearl with a Navy Blue fully automated power soft top. It also has Linen White full "soft leather" interior along with "Light Wood Effect" real wood inlays on the console and dash. All of these colors, and this combination was only available as an overseas delivery option. That means that this car must have been picked up in person by its original owner in Sweden. These OSD cars are typically better maintained as generally the most enthusiastic Volvo owners opt for this experience. The original owners then traded the car back into Volvo, where it was then sold as a Certified pre-owned car when it had just 33k miles on it. The second owner that bought the car CPO kept the car until just last month when he traded it back into Volvo, and we purchased it to offer here on eBay. The interior of this C70 is in very good condition. It has linen white leather  heated seats with beautiful light wood effect accents on the dash, console,shifter, and glove box. The hand brake lever is leather-wrapped.There is, of course, some light cracking on the seats, which is typical for a car of this age with light colored seats. They are, however, about as nice as it gets for white leather of this age. There are also beautiful chrome accents on the interior door pulls to add a classy touch.. The car has the premium audio system with the 100 watt amp as well as a single disc CD player and a cassette player. The power convertible top functions properly and is in very nice condition with no rips or tears. It is fully insulated and has a complete headliner. It is very quiet, and this car can easily be run year-round. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. These cars don't even come with cigarette lighters, just power outlets. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages which conveniently pull out of the centre console armrest. This Volvo has dual front airbags, as well as front side airbags. The side airbags are part of Volvo's SIPS (Side Impact Protection System). Sips is a grouping of several safety features to protect intrusion into the cabin during a side impact. The doors are fitted with high-strength steel door beams, and the door sill openings are designed as such to prevent the door from pushing into the car's occupants. Additionally, the SIPS airbags mounted inside the front seats provide added safety. Speaking of safety, the C70 features Volvo's ROPS (Rollover Protection System). This is a pair of active roll bars which deploy from behind the rear seat if the car's internal sensors detect that it is probable the car will roll over. They deploy in a fraction of a second to keep the front and rear occupants safe. The windshield surround and A pillars also feature strengthened steel to keep the windshield area from collapsing in a rollover situation. This allows the C70 to be just as safe in a rollover as a hard-top coupe. This C70 also features the climate package which gives you comfy heated seats, along with heated exterior mirrors.  The rear seats feature a pass-through in the center for skis or other long objects. The cargo area is very generously large for a convertible and can accommodate more than a weekend's worth of luggage easily. The exterior of this C70 is in stunning condition and has very few dings and scratches. It is Sky Blue Pearl in color which is one of the most rare colors on ANY Volvo. We've sold somewhere around 150 Volvos since we've opened, and I have never sold, or even SEEN one in this color. Even the interior color is incredibly rare. The exterior styling of the C70 was penned by the Italian firm Pininfarina which has designed many exceptional exotic cars like ferraris and the like. This C70 features 17" alloy "Arrakis" wheels which are unusual to see on a C70. We feel they are a great fit for the car. The car has had only two owners since it was new, and both owners serviced the car exceptionally well.                 The tires are all in nice shape with very good tread life remaining. The tires are all matching Continentals. The brakes are in  good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 2.4 Liter low pressure turbocharged 5 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission also operates properly. These cars rarely have mechanical problems, and this one runs wonderfully.
