Up for auction is an Limited Edition Red Sox C-30 (007 of 107) purchased new May 12 of 2009 has been well cared for and never driven in the winter. The car handles very well and is capable of 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds with a top speed of 149mph with city mpg of 19 and highway of 28 mpg. Excellent condition inside and out. This is a version 2.0 as I've seen it referred to.
Comes with signed plaque by Red Sox President, Larry Luccino. Premium leather/Flexitech power and heated seats with are extremely comfortable. Upgraded sound option with 10 Dynoaudio speaker and 5x130W Amp, Dolby ProLogic II surround sound with MP3 player, CD player and controls in the leather-wrapped steering wheel, Sirius Radio. No navigation or bluetooth.
Car is an R-Design version with body ground effects and 17" Alloy SERAPIS wheel and Michelin all-season radials. Sport pedals and chrome power side mirrors
Red Sox decal on back window (can be easily removed), Red Sox mats (have another set of mats and have not used these but come with car) and a small dash plaque signifying this a Special Red Sox Edition 007 of 107 (they all came with same color scheme). Manufacturers suggested retail price new was $28,960.00. There are a couple of appox. 1//8" diameter stone chips in the front spoiler but are so low they are barely visible.

Volvo S60 Polestar Concept finally spotted in the flesh
Wed, 28 Nov 2012The Volvo S60 Polestar Concept has graced the pages of Autoblog numerous times in recent memory, but we've never actually seen it in person. That is, until now.
We caught up with the blazing blue sedan sitting on the floor of the LA Auto Show, and it looks even better up close. As a refresher, the four-door is fitted with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (3.0-liter) generating an impressive 508 horsepower. Its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels through a fourth-generation Haldex XWD system. With a decent driver behind the steering wheel, the Polestar can crack the 60 mph benchmark in about 3.7 seconds as it rushes towards a top speed in excess of 186 mph.
Volvo has said that this Polestar-modified S60 was built for a specific client who paid upwards of $300,000 for the pleasure of owning it. But as they say, if there is market demand for more...
Jeremy Lin's new Volvo has him working out with the XC60
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Jeremy Lin rose to prominence as a point guard for the New York Knicks in February of 2012 when he came out of nowhere to lead the team to a string of victories. Volvo was quick to notice and signed him as the company's US spokesperson that March. Since then, he has starred in several Volvo advertisements, and his latest ad shows just how he uses his Volvo XC60 to train for the court. The highlight is Lin shooting free throws out of the sunroof.
Since leaving the Knicks, Lin has lost some of the visibility and hype that attracted Volvo to him in the first place. Still, commercials must be made, so check out Lin's latest below.
Apple announces CarPlay in-car iPhone interface
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Apple, maker of tech items like the iPhone, iPad and Mac line of computers, is extending its reach into the automotive market, making a fairly big announcement ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. No, it hasn't bought Tesla (yet). Instead, Apple has announced CarPlay, an all-new means of controlling an iPhone through your car.
Now, this doesn't strike us as some gimmicky thing. It's become increasingly common for automakers to take advantage of the high-speed data streams its customers enjoy on their smartphones in order to integrate navigation, traffic, audio and other infotainment items into a car's touchscreen interface. The Chevrolet Spark and Sonic are two prime examples of this move, using an iPhone's data stream for Siri integration and data for a third-party navigation app.
Owners will be able to plug in their iPhones to their cars via the USB port and gain control of a number of the device's functions, all through a car's touchscreen.
