I've owned this car 7 years serviced it myself meaning oil -filter (3 times a year w/ high mileage Castrol plus new plugs once a year don't leak anything don't smoke 100 % dependable tires are 2 years old AC works (air duck doesn't open all the way AC serviced 2 months ago wwipers work plus rear wiper dual power seats seats have normal wear no rips new marker lights and rear lens shocks were replaced 1 year ago wheel alighnment 1 year ago used every day Turbo works fine fuel guage not working ( sometime when you start it works this car has plenty of life to go a money saver 4 cylinder power locks power windows power seats the roof leaked I tried to get a new seal Volvo don't make it anymore so I sealed it and had a new headliner put in this car will save you money and keep you happy very dependable Ed 917 796 2435 insured inspected and gets inspected without going for any tests w/ emissions Good Luck Oh zero rust never any body work

Volvo details upcoming XC90's new scalable platform
Tue, 12 Aug 2014In two weeks' time, we'll be boarding a flight for Stockholm for the live reveal of the new Volvo XC90. But before we do, Volvo has revealed another round of salient details regarding not only its new crossover, but a whole range of new vehicles to share its architecture.
That platform is called Scalable Product Architecture, and it follows the latest industry trend towards modular platforms. The product of four years' development, the new platform uses high-strength boron steel to optimize weight and rigidity. The scalable architecture, set to underpin the next-generation S60, V60, XC60, S80 and anything larger, offers designers more flexibility in terms of proportions. It can be adapted to a wide range of vehicles of different shapes and sizes, designed from the get-go to incorporate a range of powertrains (including the XC90's new twin-charged hybrid system) and all the latest safety technologies you'd expect from a Volvo.
The XC90, Volvo has revealed, will also offer increased interior flexibility, with movable second and third rows to optimize cargo space and legroom as needed. That third row is designed to accommodate children (or small adults) up to five-foot-seven. Meanwhile the image inset above gives us our first glimpse at the new XC90's styling, with T-shaped running lights inspired by Thor's hammer.
Jeremy Lin's new Volvo has him working out with the XC60
Thu, 23 Jan 2014Jeremy Lin rose to prominence as a point guard for the New York Knicks in February of 2012 when he came out of nowhere to lead the team to a string of victories. Volvo was quick to notice and signed him as the company's US spokesperson that March. Since then, he has starred in several Volvo advertisements, and his latest ad shows just how he uses his Volvo XC60 to train for the court. The highlight is Lin shooting free throws out of the sunroof.
Since leaving the Knicks, Lin has lost some of the visibility and hype that attracted Volvo to him in the first place. Still, commercials must be made, so check out Lin's latest below.
