Engine and trans are smooth, quiet, and very responsive. A/C and all of the power features are in good working order. Tires are about 80%, suspension is tight, brakes are new, all fluids have been replaced, and the exhaust, while not new is quiet and solid.
Service to this vehicle includes new water pump, new timing belt, new front & rear brake rotors, new front & rear brake pads with new hardware kits, new e brake shoes, new eng oil and filter, new trans oil, new engine coolant, new distributor cap rotor and spark plugs, new fuses, new lower ball joints, new lower control are (rear) bushings, new dash and ctr console bulbs, new sun visor clips, new trans shifter linkage bushings, and throttle body PCV system cleaned. Engine & trans mounts, along with rear trailing arm and torque rod bushings are in good condition

Local buyers must pay sales tax, and all purchasers must pay a $170 processing fee. which covers the cost of titling, eBay, and transit tags. Out of state buyer are responsible for fees and taxes in their state. Vehicles are for sale locally, and hold the right to end auction early.

Arbitration of Conflicts:
By placing a bid on this item, Buyer agrees to waive their rights to bring any action in any court of competent jurisdiction in the United States or any other territory. In the event of a conflict in connection with this transaction, Seller and Buyer shall negotiate in good faith for a period of (30) days from the date notice of the conflict is given to the other party by email or certified mail. If the parties are unable to resolve such conflict, the parties shall submit same to binding arbitration in accordance with the American Association Arbitration rules. Such arbitration shall occur in-front of a panel of (1) arbitration in the State of New Jersey. The parties shall bear the cost of arbitration equally, and the prevailing party shall be entitled to collect attorney fees and arbitration costs, but no other expenses, from the other party.

2nd annual Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards revealed
Tue, Jan 13 2015There was some absolutely fantastic auto advertising in 2014, ranging from funny to inspiring. Marking the best of it from the past year, the Second Annual One Show Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards were announced during the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (full disclosure: Autoblog was among the award's sponsors, and Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty was a voter). Unlike previously, there were no brands with dominance over the list this time. Presented by The One Club, the awards have an international scope and hand out honors in a variety of categories. In the Broadcast TV group, there were three winners this year. First, there was The Scripted Life from Audi for the Q3 about breaking out of life's monotony. Also, Dad's Sixth Sense from Hyundai marketed the safety features in the Genesis. Finally, Unbreakable Drivers showed manly men being tested for the Toyota Hilux in Australia. The Online Video prize went to the fantastic The Epic Split spot from Volvo Trucks starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The best Interactive ad was the Honda video titled The Other Side for the Civic Type R, and the Experiential Advertising nod was for the Volkswagen Eyes on the Road clip that showed the dangers of texting and driving to a theater full of moviegoers in Hong Kong. Finally, the Public Choice Award went to the BMW commercial called Hello Future using the words of sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke for the i8. Volvo uncovers widespread cheating by its Chinese dealers
Tue, 26 Mar 2013According to a report in Reuters, the findings of an internal investigation conducted by Geely-owned Volvo is that its Chinese dealers vastly overreported their sales numbers in 2011, then even more vastly underreported their 2012 sales figures. About "half the dealers" out of the 151 total outlets gamed the system in order to get incentives for reaching volume objectives, falsely recording about 7,000 more units sold than was actually the case. Instead of 47,140 cars sold in China in 2011, the real number should have been 39,871.
Volvo corporate books a sale once it ships a car to a dealer, so that meant there were 7,000 more cars in inventory than there should have been. To restore the balance, the dealers underreported their 2012 sales while they unloaded those extra cars since, naturally, they couldn't claim the sale again. That made it look like sales declined by 11 percent in 2012, even though they actually increased year-on-year. The adjusted sales number for 2012 totalled 45,896.
Volvo has met with its dealers and told them to stop the deceitful practice. The discrepancies weren't so great that the company plans to restate its historic numbers, but from now on, it apparently plans to occasionally check inventory to make sure the numbers match and that it has a true picture of how individual models are selling.
Sweden's Prince Carl Philip to race for Volvo in STCC
Tue, 04 Dec 2012Prince Carl Philip Bernadotte has it good. He is a member of the Swedish Royal Family, he dates a model and he has been voted by Forbes as one of the "20 Hottest Young Royals." If that were not enough, he is a fairly successful racecar driver. The latter has earned him a spot on the Volvo Polestar racing team for the Swedish Touring Car Championship. The prince will be piloting a race-spec S60 in the 2013 STCC campaign.
Starting in 2008, Prince Carl Philip began competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup, where he placed as high as 11th. In 2010, he finished first in the Porsche GT3 Endurance competition, and most recently, he placed fourth in the 2012 Swedish GT GTB.
As his motorsport career up to this point suggests, the prince is quite serious about racing and the STCC is the next step up. According to Prince Carl Philip, "There is no tougher championship in Sweden and at the same time as I have respect for it, it motivates me greatly."
