Ideally this car will go to a Volvo enthusiast. It is a car that should be cared for and maintained in this condition as a tribute to iconic status of the 240 legacy.
This is not a beater or station car.
There are hard to find items that come with the vehicle. Black Volvo air vent scoops and a perfect condition armrest and cup holder. The center console, pictured has
cracked and must be replaced to accommodate the armrest. Extra Wheel covers free of brake dust are included. A black grill is included.... useful for winter, to preserve the chrome grille.
Two high mileage medallions are secured to front grill and there is a spot reserved for the 300,00 mark.
One lens in the rear taillight is broken. A replacement lens is included.
The engine was not steam washed prior to taking the photographs. It has always been kept this clean.
There are no rips on the seats, no cracks on the dash and winter floor mats are included.

Volvo reveals 400-hp twin-charged PHEV power for new XC90 [UPDATE]
Tue, 08 Jul 2014UPDATE: An earlier version of this post indicated that the larger of the conventional diesel engines was a five-cylinder. However all three powertrains announced for the upcoming new XC90 are actually four-cylinder engines. The text has been updated accordingly.
Volvo rolled in to new territory when it introduced the original XC90 back in 2002, creating its first SUV and one of its top-selling models. But that was 12 years ago. In the meantime it's followed up with the smaller XC60, but what the brand faithful and the industry at large have been looking forward to most is the arrival of the new XC90.
Previewed by the Concept XC Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show, the new XC90 is set to arrive later this year, but to keep us on our toes, the Swedish automaker has been steadily trickling out a stream of information and photos. Two months ago it gave us a glimpse inside the cabin, and last month it revealed its new infotainment system, but now Volvo has released details on the upcoming new XC90's powertrain.
Volvo S60 Polestar Concept finally spotted in the flesh
Wed, 28 Nov 2012The Volvo S60 Polestar Concept has graced the pages of Autoblog numerous times in recent memory, but we've never actually seen it in person. That is, until now.
We caught up with the blazing blue sedan sitting on the floor of the LA Auto Show, and it looks even better up close. As a refresher, the four-door is fitted with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (3.0-liter) generating an impressive 508 horsepower. Its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox sends power to all four wheels through a fourth-generation Haldex XWD system. With a decent driver behind the steering wheel, the Polestar can crack the 60 mph benchmark in about 3.7 seconds as it rushes towards a top speed in excess of 186 mph.
Volvo has said that this Polestar-modified S60 was built for a specific client who paid upwards of $300,000 for the pleasure of owning it. But as they say, if there is market demand for more...
Volvo S60, XC60 caught testing with freshened faces
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Neither the Volvo S60 nor the Volvo XC60 are that old, but the Swedish automaker is wasting no time ensuring that two of its most popular products don't get stagnant on the market, a fate that has befallen some of the other products it offers.
Even though these two models helped usher in a new styling direction for Volvo not too long ago, the modest facelifts on tap for both looks like they will bring both products closer to the styling of the handsome overseas V40 hatchback.
Aside from the pointier front end, the XC60 crossover is also getting a revised rear fascia that now includes integrated dual exhaust outlets. The shots of the S60 show us that the sedan's interior will be getting minor tweaks as well, including reshaped front seats and a new shift lever.
