First and foremost, I believe in total disclosure and complete transparency. Please be aware that the car is 30 years old and is not perfect. I have attempted to describe the car to the best of my ability and knowledge.

Engine: B23f 2.3 inline 4 engine. no leaks. these are legendary "red block" engines from Volvo.

Transmission: AW, automatic. slight leak of transmission fluid when parked on an incline.

Exterior: White paint. still shines after 30 years. a few blemishes but nothing major.

Interior: Beige. Both front and back seats are free of tears, rips or other defects (don't worry; the front seat covers are there only to protect the seat due to use and not to hide anything)

Has cold Air conditioning.

Oveall: Everything functions as it should. Interior/exterior lights work well; has the original analog functioning radio.

It is a simple, utilitarian and reliable vehicle. With the rears seats folded, the cargo area is immense. it can (and has) accommodated couches/sofas and refrigerators.

These 240's are getting very rare, especially the quad rectangular front headlight model. I also have a large plastic bin full of miscellaneous parts such as but not limited to front grills, interior plastic parts, etc.

First production Volvo P1800 stolen

Want further proof that car thieves are the scum of the Earth? Some crooks in Sweden made off with a prized Volvo - the very first production P1800. The P1800, a two-door coupe, is a classic that's been growing in popularity over the years, thanks in no small part to its gorgeous sheetmetal.
This particular example, wearing chassis number two, wears red paint with a white interior. It was swiped from a locked storage facility in Stockholm, according to Hemmings, between August 21 and 22. The P1800 was owned by Mats Eriksson, vice president of the Swedish P1800 Club, who had given it a thorough restoration. Features to look out for on this particular car include the unique wheel covers shown in the gallery, and two different registration plates - C28000 and ACZ 780.
