2007 Volkswagen Passat 2.0t Good Condition New Tires And Front Brakes on 2040-cars
Elkhart, Indiana, United States
Overall in great shape. At the time the pics were taken, mileage was 107,058. I purchased brand new tires (Pirelli P7 Centuratos) in March of this year. I also had the front brakes replaced in May of this year. There is a small dent in the driver side rear door along with a small chip on the hood from a stone. There is also a minor dent on the bottom of the driver side door, again; all of these dings and dents are extremely hard to see even in the pictures. See pics to see this dent. The power window for the driver side rear door has not worked since the day I purchased the car. Besides what I have mentioned, everything else works perfectly on the car to the best of my knowledge. The rest of the car truly is in great shape. I have driven this car the last 4 years, and have cared for it extremely well. I am looking to potentially sell simply because I'm a single guy and looking to downsize to a smaller car. I am in no hurry to sell because I still love driving this car and have taken extremely good care of it with premium gas and synthetic oil changes routinely. Please let me know of any questions, I will entertain all reasonable offers. Check my feedback and bid with confidence.

Porsche board members facing another 1.8B lawsuit over VW takeover bid
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Back in 2008, Porsche got the bright idea that it could take over Volkswagen in the midst of the worst economic slump since the Great Depression. Ignoring that this was a catastrophic move for the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer that that eventually resulted in it nearly going bankrupt and eventually being taken over by the same company it sought to control, the aftermath has left Porsche Chairman Wolfgang Porsche and board member Ferdinand Piëch in the crosshairs of seven hedge funds that lost out during the takeover and are now seeking €1.8 billion - $2.43 billion US - in damages from the two execs, according to the BBC.
See, investors bet on Volkswagen's share price going down, partially because Porsche said it wasn't going to attempt a takeover. But Porsche was attempting to take over VW, having bought up nearly 75-percent of VW's publicly traded shares. When word broke that Porsche owned nearly three-quarters of VW (which indicated an imminent takeover attempt), rather than go down like the hedge funds bet it would, VW's share price skyrocketed to over 1,000 euros per share, according to Reuters.
Naturally, when you bet that a company's share price is going to drop and it in turn (temporarily) becomes the world's most valuable company, you lose a lot of money, unless you're able to buy up shares before prices jump too much. This led to a squeeze on the stock, which the hedge funds accuse Porsche and Piëch (who are both members of the Porsche family and supervisory board) of organizing.
VW ID.4, the new Buick Envision and crossing Hyundai's N Line | Autoblog Podcast #668
Fri, Mar 5 2021In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Associate Editor Byron Hurd. It's a review-packed episode this week, but it kicks off with a discussion of Volvo's plans to electrify by 2030 and move their EV sales online. From there, they get into Greg's time with VW's game-changing new ID.4 electric crossover. Byron then talks about his time with two very different new vehicles: the 2021 Buick Envision luxury crossover and the 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line, which may or may not be a sport sedan. Finally, they tackle a fascinatingly complex twitter question: What is the best 'economy' muscle car?
