ok as a kid i had hundreds of vw's wish i kept them all. aww the good ole days well when i saw this one i just had to have it so i bought it then stored it now i have given up my indoor storage and i turned 60 and it is time to downsize so a bunch of my toys have to go and the razor is one of them
if you are familar with old vw's then you may know they never imported these into the usa i have heard that this one came from costa rica but thats a rumor. well it is here in sunny homestead florida it comes with a tow bar and a clear title the paint is older amatuer restoration the paint is super thick being metalflake and it has some cracks and there is minimal rust here and there trying to poke through. its a cool presentable car that runs and drives has brakes and everything now i wouldnt drive it to california but it does drive there is an exhaust leak and it is noisy but i didnt bother putting a muffler on it as there are so many after market ones out there that i didnt want to pick out one you may not like it has dual carbs on a flat pancake engine it runs ok as a vw does the seats are not original and as i know vw's this is the only type 34 razor i have ever seen so there is little else i know. you probable know more than i do. this is a no reserve auction and the starting bid is the lowest i will go and it is at a loss to me. dont offer less i will not take it and dont try to buy it now i will not take it. i am a firm believer in the way ebay works the last bid wins so if you cant afford it dont bid and dont think you can bid than come look at it and decied if you want it that is not going to happen. i encourage anyone interested to come look at it hear it run and test it out on the property there is no insurance on it so it will not be driven on the road for test runs send a mechanic or whoever you want and i will gladly show it to them the car is in homestead fl 33030 this is a very rare car and worth a lot. it is worth putting a show finish on it and being a proud owner of a classic vw that few have thanks for reading feel free to ask questions |

Here are 12 electric pickups in the works
Wed, Oct 21 2020With the unveiling of the GMC Hummer EV, the list of planned electric pickups is expanding. Legacy automakers like Ford and Chevy have theirs coming, as do startups like Tesla, Rivian and Bollinger, as well as some lesser known brands. Here are all the electric pickup trucks we know to be in the works, along with a few that are being discussed or mulled over. GMC Hummer EV The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos We’ve seen it now, and itÂ’s the business. The GMC Hummer EV comes out swinging with 1,000 horsepower from GMÂ’s new Ultium electric powertrain program, a wealth of off-road features, a removable roof, Super Cruise and the revival of the Hummer name. WeÂ’ll see the first ones on the road next fall. Tesla Cybertruck Tesla Cybertruck at the Petersen Museum View 14 Photos Tesla revealed the Cybertruck last year with, ahem, unique styling, a number of powertrain options and a claimed range of up to 500 miles. It has a compressed paper dash, a ramp for the bed, and “shatterproof” windows. It has already racked up hundreds of thousands of reservations. It will be built in Texas. Rivian R1T 2021 Rivian R1T View 15 Photos EV startup Rivian revealed its R1T electric pickup toward the end of 2018 with a claimed 0-60 time of 3 seconds and a towing capability of 11,000 pounds. Preproduction began in September 2020 at RivianÂ’s factory in Normal, Illinois. Bollinger Motors B2 Bollinger Motors B2 side outdoors View 31 Photos BollingerÂ’s B2 electric pickup is a Class 3 off-roader with retro styling, removable roof panels, and a unique “frunkgate” with a pass-through down the center of the vehicle. It was created with both enthusiasts and workers in mind, with features that can get it to remote places (portal axles, hydro-pneumatic suspension) and to get things done (room for 40 2x4s, equipped with eight 110-volt outlets and one 220-volt outlet). Bollinger also plans to make the B2 Chassis Cab available for fleet customization. Ford F-150 Electric Electric Ford F-150 Towing View 9 Photos WeÂ’ve known this to be in the works since early 2019. Since then, details have trickled out. Back in June, Ford announced its F-150 Electric would be coming within two years. WeÂ’ve seen it pull a million pounds worth of train and trucks, heard it will have more power than any other F-150, and seen its LED-laden front end.
NA auto output to reach 11-year peak
Thu, 13 Jun 2013According to Automotive News, automakers are expected to manufacture 16 million light vehicles in North America in 2013. That's up 500,000 units from last year and marks the largest number since 2002. The prediction comes courtesy of LMC Automotive and IHS Automotive, which point to the improving US economy as a bellwether for total production. LMC Automotive says North America will produce 16 million vehicles while IHS has a slightly more optimistic forecast of 16.1 million units. A total of seven automakers are slated to increase production on the continent this year. Nissan is set to see the largest jump at 20 percent over last year.
Volkswagen, meanwhile, is one of the only manufacturers predicted to scale back production. Analysts expect the German company's output to fall by 23 percent to 170,000 units, thanks in part to slow demand for the Volkswagen Passat and Jetta.
