This auction is for a 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. I am the second owner and have had the car for a little more than a year. The car was purchased new in my home town by a local Physician. It has 28,000 believed to be original miles. The engine is original. The color is Volkswagen Phoneix red which is really orange and is the original color although it has been repainted. The paint is in nice condition. The carpet and fuel tank are both new. The tires are in good condition with most of the tread remaining. It starts and runs fine with no smoke or noises at any time. The radio is aftermarket. All the gauges are in working condition except the clock. The transmission shifts fine with no issues. The floor pans are original and solid with a few repairs and patches. This is the last year of production for the Karmann Ghia with only 1558 convertibles being produced. It was built in October of 1973. This is a nice example of a very rare last year of production Volkswagen KG that runs, looks and presents very nice. I have uploaded many pictures for you to determine how nice this car is. I invite anyone interested to view the car in person at any time before the auction ends. A $500.00 dollar nonrefundable deposit is required within 5 days of auction ending date. The remaining balance is required via bank wire transfer or cash. As typical for used cars there is no type of warranty and all sales are final. Any questions my number is 662-816-8280. Thanks.

Volkswagen sketches Geneva-bound concept
Wed, Feb 25 2015Volkswagen has released a pair of sketches that give us our first official glimpse at the company's new concept car, set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Details are slim – the car doesn't even have a name yet – but we do have some facts about VW's swoopy new showcar. First off, it's a sedan – well, "four-door coupe" – but is said to have a hatchback configuration. Autoblog has also learned that the car will be powered by a hybrid powertrain, using a TSI gasoline engine paired with two electric motors, and uses an all-wheel-drive configuration that's likely similar to that in the recently unveiled Cross Coupe GTE concept. Volkswagen says this showcar uses a new, progressive design language for the brand. And while it sort of looks like a dead ringer for a new CC, we're told this concept is positioned above that model. For now, that's all we know, but we expect a host of other details to be released closer to the car's official debut in Geneva next week. Stay tuned. 10 best new car deals in late September 2021
Wed, Sep 29 2021New car sales were drastically affected in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but things started to show signs of recovery toward the end of the year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Now there's an ongoing shortage of microchips causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. That doesn't mean there aren't still great deals on new cars, though. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for September 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).
German judge 'inclined to dismiss' hedge fund lawsuit against Porsche
Fri, Feb 27 2015Last year, around two dozen investors, including hedge funds, leveled a 1.4 billion euro ($1.95 billion at the time) lawsuit against Porsche in connection with the automaker's attempted takeover of Volkswagen in 2008. The Stuttgart Regional Court dismissed the case. Around 19 of those plaintiffs are heading back to court to appeal the ruling and still hope to get 1.2 billion euros ($1.4 billion). However, according to one German judge, the chances for success aren't any better this time around. "On balance it's our view that we consider the lawsuit, or the appeal, to be unpromising for several reasons," Gerhard Ruf, a judge in Stuttgart, said to Reuters. "We are inclined to dismiss the case." The court's ruling on the appeal will be announced on March 26. The investors' case hinges on Porsche's strategy surrounding the botched takeover. The sports car maker said that it wasn't trying to control VW, when in fact it was. These hedge funds had bet against Volkswagen stock, but the share price surged when Porsche's plan inevitably came to light. Investors have sued the sports car company multiple times since then in attempts to recoup billions of dollars. However, none of the lawsuits have been successful, whether attempted in the US or Germany. Former Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking and and CFO Holger Haerter might still stand trial for the alleged stock manipulation, though.
