2004 Volkswagen R32 - Approximately 75,000 miles. ( Driven Daily so number will change )
Bought the car about 1 1/2 years ago, probably closer to 2 years now. Love the car, it was def an upgrade from my previous SRT-4. Everything works on the car, and it drives great. Haldex maintenance, Front end refresh kit, new shocks, new brake pads ( Front and Back ), and new Nitto 555 tires all done 2,500 miles ago. CAI - Nuespeed Rims painted black Steel Skid Plate Lowered Car currently has new front fascia - http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-...per/ES2535287/ Car was involved in an accident on the Driver side rear. Title was rebuilt out of Wisconsin when I purchased the car. Its not noticable from the exterior, but underneath the car is clear it was involved in an accident. |

Volkswagen Group names Paefgen head of classics program
Tue, 04 Oct 2011You may remember the name Franz-Josef Paefgen. Until recently, the German engineer and executive was head of both Bentley and Bugatti. Before that he was chief executive of Audi, after working for several years at Ford. He technically "retired" earlier this year, but like the cars he helped create, an executive like Paefgen could never really retire. So it should come as little surprise that the Volkswagen Group has named Dr. Paefgen head of its Classic program.
In his new capacity, Paefgen will oversee the historic automobile activities of the entire VW Group, including those of Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Audi, Lamborghini, and of course Bentley and Bugatti. It strikes us as a suitable semi-retirement for the man responsible in no small part for the Bugatti Veyron and Bentley Mulsanne, to name just two, and who was decorated in 2006 by the ACO as the "Spirit of Le Mans" for his contribution to endurance racing. Jay Leno takes a ride in Gabriel Iglesias' classic 1966 VW bus
Tue, Feb 3 2015We've seen Jay Leno driving all manner of vehicles, many of them epically fast. But few (this is side of his steamers, anyway) have been as slow – or quite as beautiful – as this classic 1966 Volkswagen Samba. While many of the vehicles featured on episodes of Jay Leno's Garage have actually been from Jay Leno's own garage, the former talk-show host has been known to feature some interesting rides from fellow comedians. A couple of weeks ago it was Adam Carolla's '68 Lamborghini Islero, and this vintage, pristine VW bus belongs to Gabriel Iglesias. It's in beautiful condition and is a sight to see, even if it has a little trouble making its way down the highway. Or starting up again after a quick snack break.
