Here are two 1993 VW Eurovans that are both damaged but in different spots. Basically between the two of them you would have a complete van with loads of parts to sell. The white one has a clean title, the brown one has a salvage title. They both run and drive but the suspensions need some straightening. The brown one is a rare 5 speed manual and the white one is an automatic. Both are a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder motor, both have functioning A/C systems, both were running great before they were damaged. Both have the three row seating, the white one is grey interior, the brown one is tan interior. Both vans have around 180k miles. Please feel free to ask any questions! 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible gets the R-Line treatment
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Volkswagen just launched the topless Beetle Convertible at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, but we're already seeing the next step forward in the topless Bug range with this, the R-Line. We'll admit, this treatment falls under the "all show and no go" category, but it's still a pretty potent little cutie.
The R-Line starts with a standard Beetle Turbo Convertible but adds unique 19-inch aluminum wheels on lower-profile tires, LED daytime running lamps and Xenon headlamps. Naturally, there are R-Line badges aplenty both on the interior and exterior, and we must say, the whole package looks pretty darn snazzy.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but when it goes on sale later this year, the hotter convertible will join Volkswagen's growing R-Line portfolio that now includes the CC, Beetle hatch, Tiguan and Touareg.
VW says it has sold over 100,000 TDI diesels in America this year
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Volkswagen Group of America has lit oil-burning fireworks to celebrate the sales of more than 100,000 TDI Clean Diesel vehicles in the US between its VW and Audi brands this year. According to VW, that means it is responsible for more than 75 percent of diesel-engined cars and SUVs sold here - perhaps not surprising when the two brands offer a total of 12 diesel models.
What might be surprising is that the number of diesels isn't far off the estimated sales of 90,000 battery electric vehicles and PHEVs, with 15,000 of those accounted for by the Tesla Model S, another 12,000 or so being the Toyota Prius PHEV.
VW's keen to play up the ease of making diesel part of your life, stressing that it doesn't need any change to the refueling infrastructure and that "this is a technology delivering real answers to society's concerns about fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions without compromises."
