LOW RESERVE!!!
Up for sale is my 2003 Volkswagen Eurovan MV. I absolutely love this Eurovan and hate to sell it, but my career path has changed and I am selling 3 of my 4 cars. I have had this Eurovan for a year and have loved every minute of it! It drives great, and can haul anything from my 5 kids to a motorcycle in the back! This particular Eurovan is built differently than most...it's black magic which they didn't make a ton of, and it has a sunroof, heated seats, and climatronic! Very well equip for a Eurovan. Also, this is the MV model (multivan) so it has the rear facing jump seats, fold up table, over head light, and the rear seat folds down into a bed! The pictures below really tell the story though. It is in very good condition inside and out, but does have some blemishes as you would expect for a car that is 10 years old, but it has never been in any accidents, and has just had lots of work done to it in the last year! Please call or e-mail if you have any questions at all! The reserve is set very low and I WILL sell the van by the end of the auction. If you are a serious buyer, please call me and lets see if we can work something out. I want this Eurovan to go to a good home! Happy Bidding!
The Good:
- NO Accidents, clean carfax!
- Body is very straight, paint is glossy with no clear coat peeling
- Interior is clean
- NO leaks!
- Everything works! Lights, controls, windows, AC, Heat, Heated Seats, Mirrors, ect, ect, ect!
- NEW AC compressor last month! ($$$)
- New Tires 5,000 miles ago
- Cooling system was overhauled 3,000 miles ago (Thermostat, ECT sensor, thermostat housing, cooling pipes, seals, coolant flush, ect!)
- Transmission oil and filter changed 5,000mi ago
- New exhaust system 1 year ago
- All new brakes 1 year ago
- 2 Keys
- Books
- Good factory options and color
- Aftermarket Tow Hitch for a bike rack
- Drives very well and has never left me stranded anywhere!
- Glass is all good, no cracks or chips!
The Not So Good:
- Has some chips, dings, and one dent on the hood
- 3 small rust spots, one on the gas door and 2 down low on the rocker (Pictured)
- Vacuum pump that operates the re-circulation feature is going out so the center vents make noise when you accelerate (Google it....common eurovan issue)
- Transmission is GOOD, but can have a "bump" shift from 1st to 2nd gear....again, known Eurovan issue, but the trans is great and NOT failing!
- Slight bump noise in the front right when going over bumps at very low speeds....lower control arm bushing is worn, I have new ones that go with the Van!
- Brakes are all new 1 year ago, but the previous owner put cheap rotors on the front, so it has developed a "pulsing" when braking from higher speeds...not a big deal, but a little annoying.
- Check engine light is on......it's been on since I got it and the Van runs and drives great with no odd noises or issues. I took it to a local VW shop and they said it needs timing chains. The code read "Camshaft allocation". They quoted me $2,000 to have them replaced. The Van drives fine, no chain noise, ect, so I have never fooled with it but have the reserve set low to account for this!!!
Great Eurovan over all! Very VERY original! Original radio, wheels, books, ect! This van has never been fooled with, but rather maintained very well! Will be a great Eurovan for years to come!!!
Please call 615-830-6452 with any questions!!!!

Audi CEO's Dieselgate arrest threatens fragile truce among VW stakeholders
Tue, Jun 19 2018FRANKFURT — The arrest and detention of Audi's chief executive forces Volkswagen Group's competing stakeholders to renegotiate the delicate balance of power that has helped keep Audi CEO Rupert Stadler in office. Volkswagen's directors are discussing how to run Audi, its most profitable division, following the arrest of the brand's long-time boss on Monday as part of Germany's investigations into the carmaker's emissions cheating scandal. The supervisory board of Audi, meanwhile, has suspended Stadler and appointed Dutchman Bram Schot as an interim replacement, a source familiar with the matter said on Tuesday. Schot joined the Volkswagen Group in 2011 after having worked as president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Italia. He has been Audi's board member for sales and marketing since last September. The discussions risk reigniting tensions among VW's controlling Piech and Porsche families, its powerful labor representatives and its home region of Lower Saxony. VW has insisted the development of illegal software, also known as "defeat devices," installed in millions of cars was the work of low-level employees, and that no management board members were involved. U.S. prosecutors have challenged this by indicting VW's former chief executive Martin Winterkorn. Stadler's arrest raises further questions. Audi and VW said on Monday that Stadler was presumed innocent unless proved otherwise. Munich prosecutors detained Stadler to prevent him from obstructing a probe into Audi's emissions cheating, they said on Monday. Stadler is being investigated for suspected fraud and false advertising. Here are the main factors deciding the fate of Audi. Background: Audi's role in Dieselgate Volkswagen Group was plunged into crisis in 2015 after U.S. regulators found Europe's biggest carmaker had equipped cars with software to cheat emissions tests on diesel engines. The technique of using software to detect a pollution test procedure, and to increase the effectiveness of emissions filters to mask pollution levels only during tests, was first developed at Audi. "In designing the defeat device, VW engineers borrowed the original concept of the dual-mode, emissions cycle-beating software from Audi," VW said in its plea agreement with U.S. authorities in January 2017, in which the company agreed to pay a $4.3 billion fine to reach a settlement with U.S. regulators.
Volkswagen offers Beetle Classic, priced from $20,195*
Tue, 23 Sep 2014The current Volkswagen Beetle already tries to be a fairly retro-looking ride by cribbing styling elements from the iconic original. However, for the new, limited-edition Classic model, VW is hopping into the time machine to grab even more vintage cues. The company is even cutting the price, perhaps in hopes of turning around flagging sales this year. You don't need to wait long for any of these upgrades either because the automaker says that the Classic goes on sale this week for $20,195, *excluding the $820 destination charge. That's $100 less than a bone-stock Beetle.
Starting as a standard Beetle with VW's 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 170 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, the Classic edition comes with a six-speed automatic and then adds some retro flair. It includes new vintage-look 17-inch wheels with simulated dog dish polished hubcaps over black spokes. It also comes with a rear spoiler, and the automaker is offering the model in Pure White, Black Uni, and Reflex Silver.
The interior mixes in a few more classic touches but includes modern amenities like a standard navigation system, satellite radio and multifunction steering wheel. However, the seats are finished in a two-tone design combining light brown leatherette on the sides and checked cloth centers, plus lumbar support for the driver's side. The shift knob and handbrake also get wrapped in leather.
VW recalls 25k Jettas over low-beam headlight issue
Wed, Dec 31 2014Volkswagen has discovered an issue with the headlamps on its latest Jetta and is issuing a recall notice in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to correct the issue. The problem revolves around the headlight control module, which has been found in certain instances to switch off the low-beam headlights when the high beams are turned on. Needless to say, that could result in insufficient illumination in the dark, so VW is moving to update the module's software. The issue only affects the new 2015 Jetta – specifically those manufactured between July 11, 2014 (which just happens to be this writer's birthday, thank you very much) and November 13, 2014. All in all, the Volkswagen Group of America estimates that encompasses 25,007 units in the United States, the owners of which can expect to hear from their dealers in the new year. RECALL Subject : Insufficient Headlight Output Report Receipt Date: DEC 15, 2014 NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V790000 Component(s): EXTERIOR LIGHTING Potential Number of Units Affected: 25,007 All Products Associated with this Recall close VOLKSWAGEN JETTA 2015 Manufacturer: Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. SUMMARY: Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain model year 2015 Jetta vehicles manufactured July 11, 2014, to November 13, 2014. Due to incorrect software within the headlight control module, the low beam headlights may turn off when high beam lights are turned on. As a result, the light output from the headlights may be insufficient. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." CONSEQUENCE: Insufficient headlight output may increase the risk of a crash. REMEDY: Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will update the headlight control module software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in January 2015. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 57F6. NOTES: Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
