2000 Eurovan MV. Auto, cruise,pw, pl, sunroof, folding table and fold down bed.
I bought this Eurovan a few years ago for my wife to use in her business as a sales rep. Shortly after her job description changed and she spends more time in the office than on the road. We have used it for travel and camping plus we loaded it up with furniture when we moved from the Adirondacks to the Eastern Shore of Va. It runs well and is fun to drive plus it gets 22 to 24 mpg on the highway @ 70 mph. We have too many vehicles including a 1984 Westy camper so it has to go to a new home. It was NOT driven in the winter in upstate NY, we had it in storage.
Body and Paint: paint is very nice and shiny with few scratches. The rear hatch has a couple of small dents, see photos. Very minor surface rust on left front lower rocker. see photo Overall very nice for a 2000. If you had the rear hatch painted it would look almost like new. Sunroof does leak when it rains hard. I have cleaned the seal but it still leaks. It has always been parked in a garage under my ownership so I have not fixed this.
Interior: very clean interior showing little wear. small pinholes in bottom of rear facing seat, see photos. Sunroof shade is removed but I have it.
Mechanical: engine runs well, no skips or hesitation. HAS check engine light on. code po 400. EGR valve. I have replaced the valve and solenoid and some hoses but the light came back on this spring. Where I live in Va. you can pass inspection with a check engine light on. That is the only code. Transmission shifts fine and former owner told me fluid was changed at 90K. Recent oil and filter, air filter, plugs and last fall a Bosch alternator was installed with a lifetime warranty. Rear muffler was replaced with a 304 stainless steel muffler and welded on. Muffler cost $125. Not a cheap ebay muffler! Slightly louder than stock. The A/C and heat work fine on auto setting but you can not adjust the blower speed or temp manually. It is set at 72 in the front and 67 in the rear which is quite comfortable. I bought a used climate control unit and installed it but it does the same thing. Used unit comes with van. You can adjust the vents and econ mode. If you want this fixed you will need a VAG tool to read codes. Tires are Michelin Agilis extra load tires. Fronts have more than 75% tread and rears have about 50%. The van rode very well on our trip to Va. with quite a load in it.
Reserve is very reasonable. Please bid to find it and don't ask. Thanks!
$500 dollar deposit due within 48 hours after auction ends. Full payment within 7 days. Van is sold as is. Please come and drive it if you would like. If you need any more photos let me know. Thanks for looking

Vahland leaving VW over dispute on how to run NA region
Wed, Oct 14 2015On November 1, Winfried Vahland was supposed to take over Volkswagen Group's recently created North American region that combines Canada, the US, and Mexico. But the longtime exec has instead decided to leave the automaker after a dispute over how to manage the new combined region. Vahland is currently the boss at Skoda, and in a statement about his departure the Czech company said: "Differing views on the organization of the new Group region have led to this decision; this decision is expressly not related to current events on the issue of diesel engines." Vahland is leaving at his own request, the announcement says. Vahland was appointed to run to North American region during VW's massive corporate shakeup on September 25. The decision was part of the automaker's plan to put a greater emphasis on regions and brands, rather than on centralized authority. According to Automotive News Europe citing a report from Germany's Auto Bild, Vahland was passed over for the CEO job, with Matthias Muller taking that position. Amidst the changes, Michael Horn remained at the helm of Volkswagen Group of America, reporting to the new regional boss. Vahland joined the automaker in 1990 and started running VW's operations in China in 2005. He became boss at Skoda in 2010. "In the last 25 years, Prof. Vahland made a great contribution to the company. We respect his decision and thank him for his exceptional performance," Muller said in the departure announcement. Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland leaves Volkswagen Group 14.10.2015 Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland leaves Volkswagen Group Mlada Boleslav, 14 October 2015 – After 25 years of successful work in Volkswagen Group, most recently as Chairman of SKODA, Prof. Dr. Winfried Vahland is leaving the company at his own request. Prof. Vahland will therefore not be taking up the position of overall responsibility for the North American Region (NAR). Differing views on the organisation of the new Group region have led to this decision; this decision is expressly not related to current events on the issue of diesel engines. Prof. Vahland began his work in Volkswagen Group in 1990. After holding several key positions at home and abroad, he took over Group responsibility as President and CEO of Volkswagen in China in 2005 and contributed significantly to the successful new direction of Volkswagen in China. He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management of SKODA in 2010.

Weekly Recap: Volkswagen moves forward under Muller
Sat, Sep 26 2015Most stunning was the speed of it all. On the morning of September 18, Volkswagen AG stood atop the automotive world. It was profitable and sold more cars than Toyota and General Motors, its two main rivals for global supremacy. By nightfall, the company would be embroiled in scandal. Revelations the German auto giant cheated on diesel emissions testing in the United States reverberated from Washington to Wolfsburg, Germany. What started out as a problem with 482,000 VWs and Audis in the US exploded into an international scandal. Millions of vehicles have the rigged software, meaning VW broke environmental rules as its cars spewed pollutants all over the world. The fallout began immediately. Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn – one of the most respected and capable executives in the business – apologized on Sunday and Tuesday. On Wednesday he resigned. As the week progressed, the company's stock took a beating and credit agencies threatened to drop their ratings. VW dealers and owners said they felt betrayed. The automaker hired a law firm that defended BP after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. The EPA is already extending its testing procedures to look for "defeat devices" like the ones used by Volkswagen. On Friday the company announced a major restructuring. Matthias Muller, Porsche's chief for the last five years, took over as CEO of Volkswagen and is charged with picking up the pieces of a shattered company facing regulatory action and lawsuits. With GM, Toyota, and Takata scandals still fresh, Volkswagen will likely experience unprecedented levels of scrutiny. Additionally, VW's markets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico will be combined into a North American region under the leadership of former Skoda boss Winfried Vahland, though US chief executive Michael Horn will stay on. The company is also realigning its brands by specialty and streamlining its board. Firings, government action, restructurings, and international outrage – things that usually build up over months or years – all occurred in about a week. With dizzying speed, Volkswagen's future has changed dramatically. It all happened, it's still happening, so fast.
