Selling this van as what you see in the pictures is what you are buying. There was a time that this van was the families best friend. When their kids were young alot of good times were had with it. Now every one has grown and it is time for this van to find a new home. The engine was overhauled and it has never been started since. They got stumped with wiring and project ended. I have aquirred it from a good friend and my intention is nothing more than to sell it. Obviously it could use a good cleaning and some TLC but everything is all there. The unit is LOW MILES 81,681, four speed manual transmission with pop up top. Pretty Straight body, just has been sitting in same spot and is dirty and obiously tires need air and or replacement. Use it for Parts or Restore or start it, wash it and do some tinkering. California unit therefore rust isn't a problem. Payment expected via PayPal, or Bank Wire within 24 hours of close of auction. VW confirms development of 10-speed dual clutch, 134-hp/liter diesel

Each year, the Vienna International Motor Symposium showcases some of the up-and-coming technologies automakers are engineering for the use in passenger cars, and Volkswagen AG CEO Martin Winterkorn revealed some big developments VW is working on for its future products. Winterkorn discussed a multi-faceted approach that VW is looking to reduce its fleet fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
Some of the bigger news he discussed included a "high-performance" diesel engine that will produce 134 horsepower per liter and a 10-speed DSG automatic transmission. While no specific applications were mentioned, we can only hope this is for the Audi R4 we keep hearing about.
Another topic he touched on that caused us to perk up our ears was had to do with VW's plug-in hybrid technology. While we know the PHEV versions of the Audi A3 and Porsche Panamera are on the way, Winterkorn also said that these two models will be followed up by Golf, Passat, Audi A6 and Porsche Cayenne plug-in models. Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling

Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.
We can only share these three images at this time, but fret not, folks. There's little doubt that all the details and images will be flowing from Volkswagen in short order. In the meantime, click on the images above to view them in high resolution.
