1967 Easy Camper. I purchased this van from the original owner. The bus was purchased new in the San Fransisco Bay area. Some what rare velvet green tin top walk thru camper. Low miles on rebuilt 1700cc dual port motor and freeway flyer transmission. This van sat in the original owners garage for years. All though the van shows some wear and tear, the van runs and drives great and has a good vibe to it. The dash is uncut and still has original radio. Solid dry bus with minor rust. the previous owner had done most of the rust repair already. The van has its m code plate

Motor and Transmission- Low miles on rebuilt 1771cc dual port motor. Rebuilt carb, remote oil filter and oil cooler mounted in side vent area with new fresh air scoops for reliability. Rebuilt freeway flyer transmission, fresh points and tune up.

Suspension and Brakes- Custom heavy duty sway bars front and rear, gas shocks, new front and rear brake shoes, pads, wheel cylinders, hard and soft brake lines. Brand new Good Year tires ($600).

Body- This is a factory Velvet Green bus. One of the prettiest colors in my opinion. The front floors are solid, solid dog legs, passenger side rocker was replaced, under van is solid. Battery tray has rust, as well as driver side rocker, inner rocker looks good. Nose looks good. Most rust repair has already been done by the previous owner. Repainted front bumper.

Other- Sandblasted and painted rims, new battery, rare triple vdo gauge cluster, repacked wheel bearings.

This van is a fun cruiser. Mechanically this bus has been gone through. The bus runs and drives awesome. The sway bars, gas shocks and new tires give this bus a solid feel. The updated higher horse power motor and rebuilt highway geared freeway flyer transmission, this van is a pleasure to drive. The oil cooler set up make this bus extremely reliable and ready to drive any where. This is the perfect bus to take on your camping adventures, and restore later down the road or drive as is.

**** I can have this bus shipped to your front door at whole sale cost
I also can ship world wide

10 best new car deals of November 2021

Thu, Nov 4 2021

Sales of new cars, trucks and SUVs were drastically affected in 2020 due to the (still) ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The market started to show signs of recovery toward the end of last year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Of course, then pandemic-related parts and worker shortages along with global shipping constraints started running amok and causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. Those problems (among other things) have led to record-high new-car transaction prices in the United States. The good news is that there are still plenty of great deals on new cars. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for November 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).

Volkswagen's 261-mpg hand-built XL1 headed for Geneva

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

After years of rumors, development and testing, the Volkswagen XL1 is finally about to become a reality. The project that began life as a daring 1-Liter concept car in 2002, will finally get its production-ready curtain call at the Geneva Motor Show in just a few weeks.
As soon as it hits the streets, the two-seat XL1 will instantly become the most fuel-efficient and most aerodynamic production car in the world. The car uses a plug-in hybrid system to achieve mind-blowing consumption of just 0.9 liters of diesel fuel consumed every 100 kilometers (and average of roughly 261 miles per gallon). Plus, the XL1 can go up to 50 kilometers on its battery power alone. Coefficient of drag is a miniscule 0.189, thanks to a tiny frontal area and an obviously slippery shape.
XL1 power comes from a two-cylinder diesel motor connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, while the 20 kW electric motor is fed by a lithium-ion battery. Both combine to give the XL1 performance figures that are, while not stirring, not shabby considering its extreme frugality: 0-62 miles per hour comes up in 12.7 seconds and top speed is nearly 146 mph.

Prop-driven VW Beetle hopes to land in Bonneville [w/video]

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Sometimes you meet folks who, when they tell you "Hey, I have an idea," your reflex response is to stop what you're doing and tell yourself, "Get ready...." We imagine Mike Niemans is one of those folks, and the idea in question is putting a tank engine on a Type 1 Volkswagen Beetle. Not just any old tank engine - as if there were such a thing when we're talking about putting them in cars - but a 668-cubic-inch, 220-horsepower radial engine built by Continental in 1941 and procured from an M2 tank.
In the image above Nieman is using the tank clutch hub to get the motor set up, but in one of the images below you can see what really belongs back there is: a two-inch, reverse-pitch prop taken from a wind generator. He says there's enough mojo with the propeller action to get the car rolling down the runway like a jet when he gives it gas - and speaking of gas, the engine's been refitted to run on propane.
After a few safety tweaks Nieman's going to take the matte-black Beetle to Bonneville, "put the prop on, let her go and see what happens!" We can't wait to see the video of that. There are two shakedown videos below to get you ready.
