1966 VW Microbus custom. Born in 1966 as a standard bus. Delivered in San Francisco in 1966. Serviced in San Francisco, CA and Medford, Oregon. Just finished extensive body/paint restoration with lots of pics taken along the way. All new window rubber, new rack, new door rubber, new hubcaps and most of the chrome is also brand new. I would like to keep it forever but need to sell unfortunately. I would really prefer that someone does a traditional sale ( call me, come see it and drive it, pay for it and drive or trailer it home). I'm really not interested in selling to international buyers, etc.). I've ordered a few finishing touch items that will be installed shortly. Title is a clear Oregon title in my possession and in my name. Runs and shifts great. Gauges work. Less than 10 miles on it since restoration. Professionally painted by Autowerks Restoration in original Sikkens brand Titian Red and Beige Grey two tone. Hundreds of hours in prep and paint. Interior pics with newly upholstered correct off-white seats, new rubber floor mats etc. coming soon. I expect a fair price given the amount of effort to produce a bus of this caliber. World Car Of The Year down to its final four

Judges for the World Car of the Year Award have narrowed down the finalists to just four vehicles. Out of a total of 42 entries, only the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Porsche Boxster/Cayman, Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT-86 and Volkswagen Golf remain standing. For Volkswagen, this marks the second consecutive year the company has had an entry among the finalists, and the fourth time since 2009. In order to qualify, a vehicle must be on sale on two continents during the span of time between January 1, 2013 and May 30, 2013. A panel of 66 journalists from 23 countries then vote on the finalists.
Three vehicles have made the cut for the last round of voting on the 2013 World Performance Car as well, with the Cayman/Boxster and FR-S/BRZ/GT-86 running against the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Meanwhile, the Renault Zoe, Tesla Model S and Volvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid are duking it out for the World Green Car Award. Finally, the World Car Design of the Year Award is up for grabs between the Aston Martin Vanquish, Jaguar F-Type, and the Mazda6. Check out the full press release below. VW clubs pay it forward to fix elderly woman's vandalized '69 Bus

Not long after Thanksgiving, surveillance cameras caught four boys in Arizona throwing rocks through the windows of a 1969 Volkswagen bus belonging to an elderly woman called Ann. A few nights later they returned to the scene of the first crime and repeated it, smashing windows they missed before. Ann had no other car and no way to make a living, but when Jesus Aguilera – a member of the Arizona Bus Club Â– came across the incident on a Facebook page, he got to work. When he was finished, the AZ Bus Club and the Tucson Mob Squad had donated thousands of dollars to pay for new glass and get it installed, and now Ann has a magic bus she can drive again.
