Up for NO RESERVE AUCTION is this beautiful Yellow 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle. Has
always been a California
car since the day it was new, still has its original blue and yellow license plates from 1974. If you
have ever owned or driven one of these neat little cars, you know how much fun
they are to drive! Just running errands is a joy!
A lot of people restore these cars and some do a good job, but here is a car
that has never needed restoring! It has always
been kept in good shape. The
motor was rebuilt about ten thousand
miles ago, is smooth and very powerful and has just received a full service.
This is one of the best-running Beetles I've owned in many years. Doesn't use or leak oil. Front end is
tight, no Super Beetle shakes or shimmies. All lights and heater work
great. I have many years of service records. Seats and carpets were replaced two years ago and are in very good, like-new condition.
Four new tires this year. All fenders, bumpers, body parts are factory original pieces. The car is 100 percent stock except for the fog lights and the brand new remote-control Kenwood stereo with iPod jack. One correct repaint about five years ago, and it still looks shiny and beautiful. If you have ever wanted one of these great little cars but didn't want to have
to restore one, or pay ten grand for one, then this car is for you! All it
needs is a new owner. Nice original Beetles have steadily been increasing in value and are sure to go up even more. This is a very affordable classic. Take it to your local
weekend "Bug-In" and be proud! Or really enjoy life and drive it
every day! Perfect car for that special teenager. What else can you buy with the history and reliability of a Volkswagen Beetle?! Whether you buy it as an investment or drive it every day, you'll never be sorry you bought this little Bug! Clear California title.
Available for inspection anytime during the auction by appointment. I'll ship
anywhere in the world at buyer's expense.
I can have it shipped to your door, I work with a very reliable company.
The pictures really don't do the car justice. It is very beautiful. NO RESERVE
AUCTION!! This means someone will get this little beauty. Please remember you are bidding to buy, not just come look. Full payment is due three days after the end of the auction and I don't take PayPal for payment on cars. E-Mail or call me at 831-383-2499. Good luck
and HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

New investor allows Suzuki to fend off VW
Tue, Aug 4 2015After years of legal wrangling, the long-soured partnership between Volkswagen and Suzuki looks finally to be coming out of arbitration, according to Bloomberg. As a sign of the Japanese brand's improved fortunes, hedge fund Third Point LLC recently bought an undisclosed stake in the company. The investor reported seeing a major opportunity in the successful Maruti Suzuki business in India. As an investment, the only major problem that Third Point found with Suzuki was its legal battle with VW. "The company's greatest asset is its low-cost manufacturing process for vehicles for the emerging market consumer," the fund said in a letter, according to Bloomberg. Third Point reportedly also wants a seat on Suzuki's board, despite being a minority shareholder. The alliance between Suzuki and VW goes back to late 2009. In the deal, the Japanese brand was meant to get access to cutting-edge tech, and the German firm got a helping hand towards better establishing itself in India and Southeast Asia. Things didn't go as planned, though. Less than two years later, Suzuki's boss publicly derided the deal. Eventually, the allegations started going back and forth, and the two have been working out a way to untangle practically ever since. Among the biggest issue has been how to get back the 19.9 percent stake that VW purchased. According to Bloomberg, the arbitration is now technically over. With the divorce nearly final, the two sides are just waiting on a decision on how to split things up. Suzuki may even just buy VW's stake to get the shares back.
New VW Beetle Convertible ad needs no disguise
Mon, 18 Feb 2013Convertibles make you do funny things. Ask someone if they'd drive a hardtop in near freezing temperatures with all the windows down and they might not even answer, thinking the question so ridiculous. Give that same person a convertible they love and you might just have to ask them to please put the top up even when snow is on the ground.
That guy has to take precautions to enjoy his proclivities, and as this new ad for the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible shows, not everyone understands. Have a watch below, and note that there's just one woman in the minute-long spot, and she's nowhere near the car. Seriously, why didn't VW run this commercial during the Super Bowl?
Porsche-Piech buy 10% stake in VW's holding company
Tue, 18 Jun 2013In August, 2009, as the scuttled merger of Porsche and Volkswagen had gone bad and Porsche was backed up against the ropes, Porsche Automobil Holding SE (PAHSE) relinquished a ten-percent stake in itself to Qatar Holdings as well as options it held on 17 percent of VW shares. The sale meant that, for the first time since the founding of the company 61 years before, an entity outside the Porsche and Piech families had a say in the running of PAHSE.
Buying that ten-percent stake back returns full ownership to the two families, the holding company's sole possession being ownership of 50.7 percent of VW's common shares. The price paid wasn't disclosed, but at market rates the purchase would be worth close to $1.25 billion. Qatar intends to hold onto the 17-percent stake it has in Volkswagen.
