We recently opened a used car and truck resale facility in No Oxford, MA and desperately looking for new customers. We want each and every one of our customers to be happy with their purchases and hope they will send their friends to us. In order to accomplish this major task we need to be better then the rest. We need to be honest and up front with everyone and everything we sell. We will do whatever it takes to get your business and then go even further then the sale to keep it..

Our vehicles are purchased from various dealer auctions for resale and the history or maintenance information on them are limited or just plain non existent. Our (in-house buyer) the person who buys the cars and trucks at the auction for us, has been in the retail car and truck business for 20 years and tries to stay clear of all car and trucks that will cause us/you problems down the road. But even the most seasoned buyer is not perfect. So in an effort to be perfectly upfront and honest with our potential buyers, we try our best to "say it as it is". By "saying it as it is" and listing a lot of detailed photos (the good-the bad-and-the ugly) we hope it gives our bidders a better knowledge of the vehicle they may be considering bidding on.

We encourage all buyers to ask as many questions as they wish before the decide to bid. We will do everything in our power to respond to all question in a reasonable amount of time. Should you not get a response to your question please do not assume we are ignoring you. Because that is not the truth all. We are new and we are busy and will do our very best to get back to you as soon as possible. If you do not get a response via email you are always welcome to call our office at 508 731 6364 or email our in house buyer directly at john@frontlinemotorsales.com Please if you have a question ask us before you bid...So many time buyers will assume something that is not so. and that usually spells T R O U B L E  down the road..

Last but not least. When the sale is over and you are determined the winning bidder, You will be expected to pay a reasonable good-faith deposit within 48 hours after the sale ends. We consider a $150.00 good faith deposit fair and this amount will be deducted from the winning sale price. We request that the balance of the sale price be made in person by the winning bidder or by a representative of the winning bidder at the time of pickup. This time can be arranged between the winner bidder and our staff when it is convenient for both of us.. This way, you will have the opportunity to look at your purchase in person and assure our listing was correctly advertised...We want only positive feedback 100% percent of the time...Should you like your purchase and agree that you have made a good deal, we can leave feedback for each other at this time. If you are not happy we will do our best to make you happy up to and including a full refund if we failed to meet our obligations as described in the listing.. Thank you for reading this rather long introduction but we hope after you've finished reading this you may a feel a lot more confident in buying from us... Should you have any ideas, suggestions or requests on how we can better serve you, please send them to john@frontlinemotorsales.com

Thank you
The staff at FrontLineMotorSales

This car was taken in trade late last spring. Our original thoughts were to restore this car during the winter and sell it. We put it away and forgot about it. Now we are in our new place of business we have no time for restoration work. So here it is on ebay. The body is solid including the tunnels and rails. No rot. The engine runs good and does need a carburetor. I think the seller tried to adjust it and turned the idling adjustment screws in too tight. It runs fine once warmed up but cold in nature when first started. The transmission, clutch brakes exhaust tires are good. The interior needs some attention. We have taken many pictures from different angles to show details and extent of work needed to restore it. Please as always email us for additional info or better yet place a call to 508 731 6364. A good-faith deposit is requested after the sale but  not necessary if you can pick the car up with 7 days after the sale ends. We are new to ebay and want 100% feedback 100% of the time. Thanks for looking. If you need anything else or more info please "ask seller a question" Thanks again

How VW's hyper-efficient XL1 will influence the next Golf

Mon, 18 Aug 2014

In 2007, the European Union mandated fleet average CO2 emissions of 158.7 g/km. For 2015, that figure will drop to 130 g/km, and the target for 2020 is an ambitions 95 g/km. Thanks to some German politicking, that target will be phased in from 2020 to 2024, but it will still apply to 80 percent of passenger cars in that first year. In US miles per gallon, that's the equivalent of going from about 35 mpg to 42 mpg to 57 mpg. The current Volkswagen Golf is rated from 85 g/km of CO2 to 190 g/km depending on model - and zero for the e-Golf, so for the next-generation MkVIII hatch due in 2019, to meet the goal, Volkswagen engineers will need to introduce a bunch of new tricks. According to a report in Autocar, VW be mining its hyper-efficient XL1 for some of them.
Predictions for the next Golf include a variable-compression engine, an electric flywheel and an electric turbo, along with taking greater advantage of coasting. Volkswagen could be getting help from Audi with the electric turbo and variable-compression engine and electric turbo, with Audi already having shown off the former and brand technical boss Ulrich Hackenberg confirming the VW Group is working on the latter. It's possible the flywheel system could also have the mark of The Four Rings: Autocar mentions a British system that Volvo is testing, but the R18 e-tron Quattro racer has been using one for years.
The need for such features is because the company won't be able to net enough future gains from just aerodynamic improvements and advanced materials. As price will be a factor (the regulations are expected to "add hundreds of euros to the cost of building a car"), adding much more aluminum or carbon fiber is an unlikely option. We're told the next generation won't be longer or wider than the current car, and being Europe's most popular model, VW doesn't want to make a big bet on futuristic aero, but the report says the MkVIII will "likely" have "the most aerodynamic treatment yet seen on a production vehicle," the area where lessons learned from the XL1 will truly be seen.

Recharge Wrap-up: AutoNation CEO calls anti-Tesla laws unnecessary, Common Pence donates subway money

Thu, Nov 13 2014

Volkswagen has presented a list of near-term technologies to improve fuel economy and decrease emissions. The list includes an addition to a coasting function in its stop-start system, a 10-speed DSG transmission and a more power-dense four-cylinder TDI engine. Volkswagen aims to be the world's most sustainable automaker by 2018 through electric mobility, improved design and increased environmental performance from internal combustion vehicles. Volkswagen also announced other technologies for increased interactivity and connectivity in its vehicles. Read more at Green Car Congress. Commence Pence is a system that allows subway riders in London to donate their unused transit money to charity. People visiting the city often load up enough on their subway card (called Oyster Card) to get them through their trip and end up with unused funds leftover. Zander Whitehurst, a British designer, has created a device that can use the card's RFID to accept leftover funds, which then get diverted to charity rather than reverting back to the agency in charge of running the subway fare system. See the video below or read more at Wired. Mike Jackson, CEO of AutoNation has called Michigan's efforts to ban Tesla's direct sales in the state "unnecessary protectionism." The statement comes as a bit of a surprise, as it dissents from the majority of auto dealers who support a franchise model, as well as laws that forbid automakers selling directly to the consumer. "If Elon Musk wants to make a mistake and go with an inefficient distribution system, that's his right as an American," says Jackson, showing he feels he has little to fear from the electric automaker. Jackson has more to say on the matter, which you can read over at Green Car Reports. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. VW confirms Golf GTD diesel coming to US for 2016

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Part of the Volkswagen Golf recipe that has helped the car sell more than 30 million units in just under 40 years is the number of variants in which the hatchback is offered. Building on that range here in the US, Automotive News is reporting that we will finally be getting the sporty Golf GTD, likely as a 2016 model. It's the GTD, you'll recall, that crosses the performance abilities of the venerable GTI with a powerful and fuel-efficient diesel engine.
After speaking with Andreas Valbuena, Volkswagen product manager for the Golf, AN not only says that the GTD will for sale in the US in a couple years, it also estimates a baseline price of around $27,000, which would place it between the current pricing for the GTI and the Golf R. The GTD is launching in Europe this summer, but we won't be getting the seventh-generation Golf in the US for another year. The news about the performance diesel model isn't entirely unexpected - VW officials have been hinting at it for at least a year now, going so far as to import a sixth-generation model for media test drives on US soil, a task we happily took them up on last year.
The Mk VII GTD uses VW's 2.0-liter TDI engine with output increased to 184 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, allowing the car to sprint to 60 miles per hour in about seven seconds while returning more than 40 mpg in highway driving. We can't wait.
