Like many of our interesting, low mileage cars, we got this one owner Passat after it was donated to charity. This car ran great when we got it and surprisingly enough it had already received the timing belt service. So with this major item out of the way, we proceded to go through the car and get it all up to speed for the next owner. Our service included tires, oil service, correction of oil leaks, state inspection etc. The largest repair item was the converting the clutch and flywheel to the old style to make the car smoother and easier to drive. And drive it does, these 1.8T engines are awesome when they are in good shape offering a good blend of performance and fuel economy. There are some cosmetic imperfections, scratches here and there which is why we have priced it below retail despite being in good shape and all up to date on service.
