VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

Up for sale is a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta TDI with only 9380 miles on it.  The car is driven occasionally so it will have a few more miles on it.  Here is your chance to own a great car at an amazing discount.  The car will sell for thousands less, highest bidder takes this baby home, NO RESERVE.  Please take a close look at the pictures as you won’t be disappointed at what you see.  Basically this car is in excellent condition.  It really shows and drives like a brand new car off the car lot. The car was bought from an insurance company with left front corner damage.  All the work that we did was replacing the left fender, hood, left headlight, front bumper cover, front grille, radiator support, and other miscellaneous parts.  We repainted the front end and the paint matched perfect. There was no structural, frame or suspension damage to the car whatsoever. Everything is in proper working order.  The engine is sound and the transmission shifts smoothly.  The AC is blowing cold air.  It is a smoke free car.  There are no rips, tears or stains of any kind. Tires are in very good shape, about 80-90% thread left.  Expect normal wear and tear for the year and mileage, do not expect a brand new car. If you are looking for a quality car and you want to save thousands here is your rare opportunity.  If you have concerns of any kind please e-mail me at rbercea81@yahoo.com or call 602 327 2712 and ask for Ray.  Buy with confidence, please check out our seller feedback and you will find out that 95% of the time we work on these TDI’s.

The car comes with an Arizona Restored/Salvage Title.  That means the car has been through the state inspection, it passed and it can be registered in any state.  Check with your local MVD for the steps you need to take to have the car registered.

Arizona buyers are responsible for 9.3% sales tax that will be added to the final bid.

I will gladly assist you in finding a reasonable transport if needed or pick you up at the airport if you want to drive the car back home.  Our business is located within ten minutes of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Wagons make a bit of a comeback, with new models, sales on the rise

Thu, Jan 10 2019

Consider this an official invitation to hop on the wagon bandwagon. There's still tons of room because, well, it's a wagon (and market share is still extremely small). But according to new data, the segment is growing. According to a report from Bloomberg, using data from Edmunds.com, roughly 211,600 Americans purchased wagons in 2018. That is technically down from the 237,600 sold in 2017, but wagon sales in the U.S. are up 29 percent from where they were five years ago. It's also the third year in a row that wagon sales broke the 200,000 mark. The sales trends have been somewhat representative of the availability of wagons. New models have debuted during the past 5 years and therefore offer more opportunity at more brands to buy wagons. In addition to more modest cars such as the Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen, several luxury and performance brands are offering wagons today, such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo and Buick. (Bloomberg's headlines make the point that "crossovers are for the Kardashians," and wagons are just, well, classier.) This uptick in brand-name availability, as well as extremely well-executed design on most of the wagons currently available, has helped increase the segment's desirability. That, and its ability to better accomplish the same tasks at hand while standing out from the crossover and SUV crowd. Still, the posted numbers represent a small fraction of the total vehicles sold. According to the data, wagons only held a 1.4 percent market share in 2017, the segment's best recent year. Wagons hold a steadfast place in America's past, and they're writing an interesting new story. With the downturn in traditional cars, they may continue to create an unexpected narrative. Top Gear drag races VW Golf R against McLaren 675LT and Porsche 911

Thu, Apr 7 2016

Top Gear's latest quarter-mile drag race in the collects three very different performance vehicles: the 296-horsepower Volkswagen Golf R, 424-hp Porsche 911 Carrera GTS, and 666-hp McLaren 675LT. While each of these cars sit near the top of their segment, they each come from totally different rungs of the sports car price ladder. Spoiler alert, the Golf R doesn't win. But the final results illustrate the diminishing returns of price and performance. For example, the McLaren is only about a second quicker than the Porsche to 60 miles per hour, but the 675LT costs over 2.5 times more that the GTS. Related Video:

Volkswagen's De Silva says next Scirocco will be 'completely different'

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

From our perspective, the reborn Volkswagen Scirocco is a handsome (if squat) little thing. Yet design-wise, it's always struck us as uncomfortably close to the Golf three-door hatchback with which it shares its basic underpinnings. That aesthetic kinship may be part of the reason why Volkswagen has steadfastly refused to import the Scirocco to North America, seeing as how the Golf doesn't regularly set the company's sales charts alight, and it's less expensive.
But that visual similarity might be about to change, says Walter De Silva, who recently told Australia's Car Advice that, "It must be completely different... we don't want to repeat the bodystyle of the Scirocco, we want to change that." Further, the Volkswagen Group's design boss says that the next-generation car isn't terribly far along in development yet - "at the moment, it's only a studio [project]... it's not defined." It's probably just as well, as the new seventh-generation Golf arguably borrows some of its design from the current Scirocco anyway.
So we should expect a much bolder, more differentiated design, right? Well, yes, no and maybe. Back in September, De Silva himself was quoted as saying that the era of flamboyant styling has passed, and that future VW designs will be simpler to better reflect the times and preserve resale value. So... how different could it be?
