Hello all,

We are looking to sell our Volkswagen Jetta SE, 2010 Model, with convenience features and Sunroof.
Several of the features include, but are not limited to:
Power tilting/sliding tinted sunroof with an additional Manual Sunshade,

Individually controlled Heated Seats! and Heated Mirrors,

V-Tex Leatherette seats,

Tire-pressure monitoring system,
Trunk Release and Keyless entry,

Child Safety Locks, Airbags,
Premium VIII touchscreen, 10 Speaker sound system with in dash CD changer, Aux-in, MP3readability, Bluetooth, and Sirius.

2.5L, 170 hp 5-cylinder engine, 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic® and Sport mode. On request, we can send you an online docket with ALL the vehicle data. This includes information about the car and all the features fitted into it.

The car has only been driven for ~27,000 miles! It has been kept in extremely good condition. The car has been serviced every few months/miles by the certified Tom Bush Volkswagen Servicing department since we purchased this car. The car is an extremely tough model with all the safety features a family could ask for.

The car is a beautiful White Gold Metallic Color with a Leather Steering and 16" Alloy wheels. The interiors follow a sophisticated color scheme of Corn Silk Beige and Titanium black. The car additionally had a space saving spare wheel and all the tire changing tools. Most importantly, the car has a LOT of legroom (compared to most other sedans) in the front as well as in the back, so passengers will not feel cramped, in the least.

In addition, there are several accessories such as  a Rear Lip Spoiler, Carpeted Mat Kit, Monster Mats® Kit, Basic Alarm Retrofit, and Stainless Steel Door Sills. Additionally, we will include the Perma Plate Automotive Protection System with Paintguard, Fiber guard and Leatherguard. These amount to over $1800, which we will throw into the mix for FREE!

Lastly, the Volkswagen Jetta SE has a tiny scrape on the paint on the rear bumper on the left side(another car minutely shaved it while backing out of a parking lot) and another scrape on the front right wheel (due to going over a curb). Both of these marks are very negligible. Please find the pictures for the same at www(dot)vwjetta(dot)webs(dot)com. Our car has not been in any other mishap whatsoever.

We bought our car, brand new, from the Tom Bush Dealership on Atlantic Blvd., in Jacksonville. This is our first car and we have taken a lot of care of it. It has also treated us well and has only been a pleasure to drive. It looks very suave, is extremely comfortable and gives excellent pick up and gas mileage. It has also been regularly serviced at the certified Tom Bush Volkswagen Service Department since the time we bought this car. We would not only request you to consider our car, if you were looking to buy one - but we would also recommend Volkswagen and the Jetta, in particular, to everyone. That is how much we stand by the company and of course, by our car. We are having to sell our car with a heavy heart because we are moving to the UK.

Should you have any questions about our Volkswagen Jetta SE, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

Even if you are the first to bid, we will accept. So don't wait!

2015 VW Golf R caught getting a flogging on 'Ring

Wed, 22 May 2013

The upcoming version of the Volkswagen Golf R is nearly ready for prime time, if this video of the car flying around the Nürburgring is any indication. The all-wheel-drive R seems to make quick, neat work of the corners we see here, and sounds pretty devilish in the process.
Expectations are that the new Golf R will run a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (what else?), tuned to produce even more than the current car's 256 horsepower. (Some sources have indicated outputs as high as 286 horsepower, with 280 pound-feet of torque. It's still not clear if Volkswagen will bring the six-speed dual-clutch transmission to the US-spec Golf R in this next go-round or if we'll stick to having only... eh... the stick.
In either case - watching the video below will only whet your appetite for the new, highest performing member of the Golf family.

Recharge Wrap-up: VW CEO mulls battery factory, voters approve $201B in transportation funding

Mon, Nov 21 2016

Volkswagen Group CEO Matthias Muller says that it would "make sense" for the automaker to begin producing its own batteries. As the company moves toward electrification, Muller says it would be a smart move to build a battery factory. "If more than a quarter of our cars are to be electronic vehicles in the foreseeable future then we are going to need approximately 3 million batteries a year," he says. Volkswagen has agreed to cut 30,000 jobs in its restructuring, while committing to creating 9,000 jobs in Germany through battery manufacturing and mobility services. Read more at Automotive News Europe. Election results show a desire for transportation funding. Earlier this month, voters in 22 states approved ballot measures adding up to $201 billion in funding for transportation projects, according to the American Road & Transportation Builders Association. California passed 15 transportation measures, including one in Los Angeles worth $120 billion for roads, bridges, and transit. The state of Washington secured $54 billion for light rail and buses. Atlanta approved about $4 billion for road and transit projects. Illinois and New Jersey passed measures to prevent the diversion of transportation user fee revenue to other industries. A Delaware federal judge ordered the DOE to give the documents – which concern a presentation by Fisker to the DOE in which it falsely claimed to meet milestones set forth in a government loan – to lawyers in a case in which investors claim Fisker lied to them about financial troubles. While the DOE has given over documents already, they were incomplete and heavily redacted. "I understand that such disclosures may have a negative impact on future DOE analyses," says US District Judge Sue Robinson. "but conclude nonetheless that under the circumstances at bar – the public money at stake, the Congressional hearings, and the fact that Fisker Automotive is now a defunct company – the balance of interests favors plaintiffs." EU formally questions French government assistance of Peugeot's finance arm

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

Recently, the finance arm of PSA/Peugeot-Citroën was in such debt trouble that it was pricing itself out of the car loan market. The rates it was paying to service its debt, which was rated one step above junk, were so high that it was forced to charge car-buying customers higher rates than they could find elsewhere. This was adding to Peugeot's already impressive woes by sending revenue out the door to competitors.
Two months ago a deal was worked out with the French government whereby the state would provide 7 billion euro ($9 billion USD) in bonds to guarantee the finance arm's loans. The French government could nominate someone to join the Peugeot board, Peugeot would guarantee more French jobs, and on top of that deal, other banks would provide non-guaranteed loans. The government would take no equity stake in the car company.
Although not yet finalized, the arrangement is meant to create some breathing room for Peugeot Finance to lower its interest rates for customers, and a government-nominated board member, Louis Gallois, was recently named to Peugeot's supervisory board. The arrangement was also openly questioned by at least three competitors: Ford, Renault - which is 15-percent owned by the French government after it received state aid - and the German state of Lower Saxony, itself a 15-percent shareholder in Volkswagen.
