Dealer Recamendation Replace transmissiom and flywheel asap PLEASE SEE CONDITION DESCRIPTION. Timming belt, waterpump and belt tentioner replaced at 110,000 Replaced EGR cooler 128,000. tires very good. I am Oringal owner .all work has ben performend by dealer with paper work. Delear warns not to drive if flywheel comes apart it will do damage to engine and transmission, I am told that these flywheels need replacing around this mileage. Car is driveable at any speed and shifts fine, Its when you come to a stop and sit for a minute or two or put it in park it acts up. Engine Oil has been chaned every 5000 The first 100,000 then every 7500 after that with spec oil by owner, never had any engine problems. No accedents front wind defelcter has ben replaced, No dents and some stone chips no scraches, small chip in winshield, sterring wheel is worn, headlights just a little foged all in all its in very good shape . This car was purchesed late 06 And is really a 07 sold as 06 for emmision reasons. Came with a First ACT ELECTRIC GUITAR That only 07 came with. If you want the guitar it will be 200 extra, plugs into glove box, never been out of box onlly to take pitcures, comes with Cord to glovebox, White Pearloid Guitar w/VW nobs, Gigbag case with handels and strap with pockets,VW picks, VW Guitar Strap made from VW seat belt material. Volkswagen and Funny or Die take humorous spin in 2015 Golf
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Volkswagen is partnering with Target and Funny or Die in a bizarre ad for the latest Golf starring comedian Rob Huebel, probably best known for his work on Childrens Hospital on Adult Swim.
The commercial is titled The Way Too Helpful Neighbor and stars Huebel as the eponymous neighbor. The challenge is for Huebel to help improve his buddy's apartment before the guy meets his girlfriend's parents for the first time. The obvious way to do that is to slide a new Golf through an actual Target in Texas, while simultaneously showcasing the store's goods and the car's features.
The commercial is airing online now and on TBS during breaks in Conan O'Brien's show, with sneak peaks during other programs on the network. Auto advertising is becoming pretty normal for Funny or Die at this point, though, with the site previously partnering with Fiat for several videos. Volkswagen Routan dead, pour out a sippy cup for your little homies
Thu, 28 Mar 2013America's minivan wolfpack has just gotten smaller by one. According to Automotive News, Volkswagen officials have confirmed what we've suspected for some time - the Routan is dead. Essentially a lightly reworked version of the Dodge Grand Caravan, the Routan actually hasn't been rolling off of Chrysler's Windsor, Ontario production line at all this year, but VW had yet to confirm its discontinuation. However, Jonathan Browning, CEO of VW America, has reportedly admitted that the Routan is being axed, with remaining units expected to be funneled into corporate functions for "internal purposes."
The move isn't unexpected - the Routan has never been a big seller, with just 57,650 examples moved since sales began in 2008 - peak yearly sales totaled under 16,000 units, and that was back in 2010. And while many have talked of the minivan segment shrinking, Automotive News points out that the segment actually grew 14 percent last year to 597,118 units, though it should be noted that most segments have been on sales upticks as the US economy chugs out of its recession.
So, is volume-crazy Volkswagen prepared to pass on large family vehicle sales? Probably not - the German automaker has signaled that it plans to build a three-row crossover in North America soon, and we wouldn't be surprised if it looks an awful lot like the Crossblue Concept from January's Detroit Auto Show - minus the fancy plug-in diesel powertrain.
